The service was supposed to be fast, but I waited so Long for my briyani because they forgot my order.. which was a disappointment considering how there were not many people in the shop. I couldn’t have taken a more appealing photo as they served the briyani in this usual metal bowl, and then a random white plate to pour it out and just a small, pretty pathetic bowl of curry that was not spicy. I asked for additional fish curry to add more spiciness to my dish. The chicken was also oddly lacking Color, I understand some stores soak their chicken in the curries which gives it their iconic red Color, but this was yellowing and stale looking, making it slightly unappetizing. I would come back to this store for their more well known and famous crispy pratas, or even their nasi/maggi/kuay teow goreng (it looked really good from the other table😂).

I was a little sad when the teh tarik was served without the foamy finish at the top, making it quite indicative of how the tea wasn’t pulled at all. I love to order teh tarik for the art of tea pulling and the foamy beginning when you drink it. I also ordered less sugar (especially because it is always VERY sweet) but this felt like no sugar at all, which really ruined the drink.

Coin Prata comes in a set of 6, with mutton cubes. The Coin Prata is crispy and chewy inside. Although the mutton curry is fragrance, the potion is way too little. I only managed to find 3 small pieces of mutton cubes. Personally find the Coin Prata w/ Mutton Curry overpriced.
(S$8)
Super yummy. Naan at 4$ (I think) and butter chicken at 7.50$ .
2 plain Prata, 1 egg Prata, 1 cheese Prata, butter chicken and Maggie goreng at 20.40$
Yummy :)
The old and almost archaic facade of this place is an absolute disguise imho. Why? Well, here I had one of the best pratas for now; crisp externally, nicely cooked and substantial on the inside.
On a second visit, we entered with ravenous tummies and got ourselves a full table compromising of what I would loosely define as “the whole suite of dishes you get at your favourite prata place (ranging from curries, noodles goreng, nasi briyani and here they have a North Indian selection of naan etc). Leaving completely satisfied, I was especially drawn to the butter chicken for probably its tender chicken chunks, but really that kick ass blend of a gravy that I crave as I write.
