Perfect meal to have on a cool evening! Thoroughly enjoyed both the orders. The classic prawn noodles soup had a thick tasty broth and the kwayteow was soft yet chewy. Shout out to the classic prawn soup with pork ribs - it had a sweet lingering taste on top of the already delicious broth. The prawns were also fresh and the ribs were tender. The coffee shop space is also newly renovated making it comfortable and clean to dine at. Will recommend!

I am a big fan of prawn noodles, so I was rather excited to try out Zhup Zhup when I found out it had been awarded the Michelin bib gourmand.

My friend and I ordered the classic prawn noodle soup, and a dry noodle version of the prawn and pork ribs soup. When the soups arrived, you get hit immediately with fragrance of the umami, rich prawn broth bubbling away in front of you, which I really loved! I love my soups HOT so you can be sure that they served it that way haha, and I felt it also brought out the flavors of the broth better when served hot too. The prawn noodle soup was everything I had imagined and more, and the soup that came with the pork ribs and prawns surprisingly tasted slightly sweeter compared to the soup that only had prawns.

The kway teow noodles were thin and springy, which I feel can be rather hard to find in Singapore as you’d find the thicker ones normally, so plus points for that! We got a mix of the beehoon and yellow noodles with chili for the dry version, which was a good combination too. When eating prawn noodles, you also got to pair it with some ngoh hiang and prawn crackers, which was decent and went well with the noodles!

After trying Zhup Zhup, I can definitely understand why it got a Michelin bib! The soup broth was really fragrant and rich, and you can drink quite a bit of it before it gets too jelak haha. If you’re in the area do give it a shot :)

Rich and flavorful prawn noodles, broth served in a claypot. Pork ribs were tender. Portion is big, enough for 2. Fried Hokkien Mee has a pleasant wok hei. Prawns are fresh. Ngoh hiang platter was average

Yummy prawn noodle and ngioh hiang platter. Tasty soup, not too thick, fresh prawns, tender meat. Quite big serving of noodles. Crispy cracker even after some time, yummy ngioh hiang with the dipping sauce. Hokkien mee okok only but prawns are fresh and juicy.

Had the supreme prawn noodle which had a rich and flavorful soup. it was also packed with seafood. Despite the quick service, the dish arrived steaming hot. A satisfying bowl of prawn noodle

I ordered the dry Supreme Prawn Noodle from Zhup Zhup and was honestly impressed by how flavourful it turned out, even though it looked pretty simple at first glance. The noodles were springy and well-tossed in a savoury sauce, and the soup was packed with a generous amount of seafood and incredibly rich in umami. It added so much depth to the whole meal and tied everything together beautifully.
