This bowl of pao fan looks seemingly average until I started scooping beneath the broth. It was loaded with white rice, fried puffed rice, fried fish slices and shredded deep-fried egg floss. The broth was not as flavourfully thick and rich as others I've had. It was lighter, not too oily and had a natural sweetness and savouriness to it. Overall a warm and comforting bowl to have at a more pocket-friendly price, with delightful element of crunch-ness from the fried puffed rice.

Had their seafood porridge ($6.90 for individual or $12.90 for sharing), Tea Smoked Salmon Fillet ($9.90) and Prawn UFO ($4.90).

Seafood porridge has lots of seafood in it such as prawns, scallop, crab meat and lala which is worth it for the price. Tea Smoked Salmon Fillet is not bad and affordable for smoked salmon. Prawn UFO had a crispy wanton texture and prawn bits which is nice.

Recommend people to come here and try.

๐Ÿฝ๏ธ Oyako Don @ekibensg $5

๐Ÿš The egg is silky and the chicken is tender and well cooked. The rice is soaked in the right amount of dashi. It's an enjoyable meal.

๐Ÿฝ๏ธ Yang Zhou Fried Rice @ Yummy Kitchen $4.50

๐Ÿ› To be honest, I've almost forgotten how a normal fried rice should taste like ever since the short grain rice (Ding Tai Fung and king of fried rice) changed the fried rice scene here. Fortunately, we still have zhi char stores who keep their fried rice traditional. โ˜บ๏ธ The fried rice have enough wok Hei and is generous with the ingredients. It has shrimp, chicken, luncheon meat, char siew and egg. I'm not kidding when I say u can taste all the 5 elements in every bite! It's like the ingredients are proportioned perfectly with the amount of rice to make sure u have all the ingredients at the same time every mouthful.

Recommend a visit if you are around the area.

๐Ÿฝ๏ธBlack Pepper Chicken Rice @ Royal Kitchen Thai Cuisine $5.80
๐Ÿณ The fried egg is one of the most nicely fried egg I've seen from a hawker stall๐Ÿ˜… Most sunny side up we've seen are with egg yolk being exposed but this is nicely cooked and covered with a thin layer of egg white. The thought of breaking the yolk and let it run through the rice is already making me drool๐Ÿคค
๐ŸŒถ๏ธ Chilli sauce is spicy and tangy. It's a good match with the creamy egg yolk and rice.
๐Ÿ› The black pepper chicken has the right amount of spice and little sweetness from the onion.

๐Ÿฝ๏ธ Signature Roasted Chicken Leg @finsandfeathers_sg $6.20

๐Ÿ— The chicken thigh is tender and juicy. Slight crisp on the skin which adds on to the texture. For me, the herbs(thyme/rosemary) used is slightly overpowering. My guess would be Rosemary being used as thyme should have a milder flavour. It leaves an after taste in your mouth. As for the gravy, It might be that overpowering herbs taste that made the brown sauce/ chicken gravy sort of tasteless.

๐ŸŸ The fries are nicely fried to golden brown and were kept separate from the gravy so that we don't get soggy fries.
๐Ÿฅ— Coleslaw is fresh and tangy.

Overall a really decent western food stall with reasonable pricing.
