PP's CKT always, always hits the spot! Spicy, wok hey deliciousness. Will always come back for more.

One thing you must order here would be this if you want to try Penang style of lorbak.

You hardly find this in Singapore and glad to see them offering it here.

Featuring generous filling of pork meat inside, a perfect side dish to complete your Penang foods here.

Also comes with generous amount of ingredients, I love their chilli paste with lots of fried shallots.

The soup was close to the taste in Penang but could be more spicy.

The curry chicken was actually come in a claypot, together with a plate of rice and chap cai.

The curry was creamy and tasty, with generous size of chicken meat and potato given. Although I was hoping it to be more spicy.

One of the place to go to when you crave for Penang foods. Penang Place is actually a very big restaurant at Suntec City which offered buffet style (no self service during this pandemic).

If you feel you can’t eat so much, you also can go for the ala carte menu.

Their Penang char koay teow portion is enough for 2 person, featuring great wok hei with generous portions of prawn and oyster in it.

The char kway teow was tasty with good wok hei, quite a good deal as dessert was included.

Could smell the penang ckt as soon as we walked into the shop. The shop was surprisingly big and crowded. Due to Covid, the food has to be ordered through the ipad (which was extremely laggy) but the best part was that they were extremely receptive to the special requests that we made. Some of the best dishes include the penang ckt (lots of cockles and fresh prawns), salted egg chicken, soup of the day, satay, kuay pie tee. Couldnt eat spicy so not sure about the rest though I'm sure it tasted great as well.

Had the Penang Char Kway Teow and mini kuehs. CKT came with prawns, squid, cockles, fishcake and plenty of greens. Definitely enjoyed it as everything was fresh. Lime juice was refreshing and not too sweet. Kuehs were also nice and chewy, not too dry (as I don't like kuehs elsewhere which are usually too dry). Service was good; staff brought over sharing plates for 2 of us and was courteous.

One of my fav dishes at this buffet was the salted egg chicken but there are so many dishes that are worth trying here and for the price of about $30 it’s so worth it. The head chef is from Penang and even sources his ingredients from there making sure everything is as authentic as possible. The salted egg chicken is slightly sweet but well balanced out with the savory salted egg sauce. The chicken is crispy on the outside but tender on the inside making it so so addictive. The flavor of the curry leaves come through nicely as well.

Other dishes worth trying: Kueh Pie Tee, Satay, Lorbak, Beef Rendang, Nasi Lemak, Prawn noodle

Kueh salat was quite average. 1st time eating kueh Tai Tai with kaya. Not too bad. Kueh was salty and kaya was sweet. I usually don’t like this combi but this one was acceptable, cos kaya was not very sweet.

Kueh lapis was ok only. Kueh kosui was lovely. The caramelized sugar taste was smoky and deep. But it was not sweet. I loved it. Abok abok sago was so rich and creamy it melted in my mouth.

Barley was too sweet. I didn’t like it. Pulut hitam was perfect. If the coconut milk was coconut cream, it would be unbelievable. Ask for some salt to sprinkle in.

Spotted these when I was going to pay the bill. Rushed back to my table so I could have some before I leave. Prawn paste taste was barely there so it wasn’t too salty.

Chicken satay was good. Well marinated. Each batch was promptly snatched up when they were replenished. Peanut sauce was savory with a hint of sweet. Nice. I usually don’t go for spring rolls but I really liked this. It tasted rustic and simple, and was very crispy. I ate 2, which was a first for me at a buffet.

I dunno that those wings were called but they were terrific. So spicy and so good. Kueh Pie Tee was a DIY. Fun for kids.

Beef rendang was quite tough but the gravy was good. Prawns were not too bad. Not deveined, so in addition having to remove the shells, it was too much work just to eat one.

Their famous CKT was indeed delicious. Good wok hei and the seafood was plentiful and fresh. Vegetarians could order a vegetarian version as long as they were paying for the buffet. The curry was really yummy. On the watery side, but flavor was great and quite spicy.

The Assam laksa was good but really sour. Prawn soup was fabulous. The flavor was robust and deep. I drank the whole bowl.

This place was huge. With an area in front for Ala carte orders, and a big hall further in for buffet, this was a favorite for office gatherings. Another reason was that besides being halal, vegetarians were also well taken care of. Vegetarian Char Kway Teow could be ordered free as long as you were paying for buffet.

These little fried beauties were great for munching on. I esp liked the Lobak. The chicken meat marinated in 5 spice powder and wrapped in beancurd skin was addictive. Fried tofu was great when paired with their Sambal ikan bilis. Fried butterfly prawns were crunchy and juicy. Ngor Hiang was good too.

I love their penang char kway teow, with lots of ingredients like prawns, squid, fish cakes, bean sprouts, egg! I also had their hokkien prawn mee soup that wasn't too bad but could use a little more flavour... Beef rendang was nice and tender too! Damage was about $30/pax
