@pepperbowl.sg’s Black Pepper Beef Hor Fun ($5.50) laden with lots of zhup 😏

For $5.50, there was generous amount of beef slices, I even wonder were there more beef than hor fun even. Beef was tender with a slight chewiness that went well with a stir of onsen egg ($0.60).

Queue was pretty long during lunch so prepare to queue while hunting for seats at Amoy!

Love the black pepper beef horfun! For just $5.50, you get lots of tender beef slices and satisfaction too :)

One of my staples whenever I am at Amoy Street is the beef hor fun from Pepper Bowl located at the 2nd floor.
For only $5.50 you get a generous bowl of goodness. Recommend adding 60cents for an onsen egg to bring the dish to the next level (trust me).

the black pepper sauce is soooo good! I added an onsen egg and it’s a nice creamy addition. Would like to try this over rice next time.

Ordered their black pepper beef the last time, and decided that the dish is tasty but a little too peppery to my liking. Hence I ordered the spring onion version this time and it hits all the right spots! The slightly fried hor fun is drenched with the delicious gravy. I like to dip my beef slices in the onsen egg instead of mixing it up, bit like eating sukiyaki πŸ˜…

I queued for 20 mins during lunch hour. The hor fun taste pretty good, worth the queue. The black pepper taste is not as strong as I expected but it’s still good. Love their beef hor fun, the hor fun taste flavourful as compared to the traditional zi char. Will queue again when I have time and try their onset egg 😊
