early morning full with customers, the spread of dim sum is quite a lot.
The Bao is soft and full with ingredients, the Shu Mai is meaty, the chicken feet is tasty n cooked in herbal savoury, the fried carrot cake is crisp outer layer when inside smooth.
Overall is very good traditional dim sum.
💰50 MYR ($15) plus 3 te-oh.

Flavour might not be the greatest of all time, but this restaurant shines with their unique selection of dim sum.

Bittergourd rings stuffed with minced pork, century egg on minced meat, and even mushrooms.

The chicken feet here is very herbal, which is rather refreshing when compared to the normal lip smacking oilyness of regular chicken feet.

Spotted Restoran Kak Kak after our breakfast at Restoran Ka Hoe that’s just down the same street. Came by the next day around 10am and some stuff were already sold out ☹️ Prices vary, but these 6 in white saucers were 21.60RM (S$7.20). The items were decent with some hits and misses.

Unique JB way of serving dim sum. Different varieties were steamed within the same giant bamboo basket. My personally favourite would be the chee chong fan and da pau! The chee chong fan was so good we ordered a second plate. The rice roll was not too thick, gravy rightfully complements the main character here, not being overpowering in taste and texture. Finally topped with spring onion and flakes of dried meat. MIST ORDER!
