From the Burpple community

Thin and crispy house bacon with bacon jam, accompanied by two fried eggs and tomato relish. Placing everything delicious about a breakfast in between two crunchy slices of toast. Bacon fans will rejoice!

Enjoy this for 30% off with the Burpple Beyond deal, making this sumptuous breakfast kinder to your wallet.

We visited on a Saturday morning and it was crowded, filled with large groups of cyclists. Would recommend coming earlier to avoid queues and crowds!

Finally make my way to @sarnies.sg a casual Australian eatery in the heart of the CBD on Telok Ayer Street, after been hearing much great review about them on serving amazing food and brunch. Here they offers both indoor and outdoor dining, boosting a really relaxing atmosphere.

What I tried from their dinner menu,

Shoestring Fries & Aioli.
Potentially-addictive crisp indulgent Shoestring Fries that serves with a bowl of Aioli sauce. These shoestring fries are testament to how fries should be. A must-have.

Their food is definitely unique and the ambiance really great for after-work chill time and they also whips up a good range of cocktails, with spirits, beers, ciders and wines on their drinks list as well. I will be back to try their highly raved brunch menu.

What I tried from their dinner menu,

Hot Honey Fried Chicken
Wickedly delicious crispy fried chicken wings drizzled with hot honey that add another dimension of flavour that is difficult to resist. This ticks all the perfect fried chicken box: juicy, crispy and packed with so much flavour!

What I tried from their dinner menu,

Pork Cotoletta.
Crispy fried duroc pork chops fried till a delicious crunchy golden brown, drizzled with sage caper brown butter and serve with wombok salad & tomato chutney. Every bite was crispy, piquant and savoury. I especially loved how each bite wasn’t overly oily. The pork chop itself is tender and moist. Is my soul food!

We had the truffle mushroom tagliatelle pasta ($22) and bolognese penne pasta ($24) on the 1-for-1 for Entertainer! The portions were generous and tasted quite good for the half-price that we were paying, although it might get a little gelat past a certain point in time. I definitely will be back here on the Entertainer! Maybe will try their coffee next time, as their beans are well-known (and apparently good to be given as gifts).

Since opening in July 2011, this stall has been attracting folks with their gourmet sandwiches, freshly roasted coffee, and rustic yet relaxed vibe.
.
The egg omelette itself is thick and fluffy on the exterior, with a juicy semi-runny interior, almost like a pocket filled with a generous amount of ingredients. Has bold eggy sweet savoury salty flavour.
.
The fillings of tender sauteed button mushrooms and soft caramelised white onions have a vegetal earthy sweet flavour, complemented by the gooey cheddar cheese with cheesy salty flavour.
.
Served over a crisp rustic sourdough bread, which crunches beautifully to release its natural bready sour sweet fragrance.
