Seoul Shiok (Ang Mo Kio)

Flavourful overall and good beef, but beansprouts were too raw and I had to pick them all out.

Was raining in the past few days so ordered food delivery for some warm army stew.

Seoul Shiok is a Korean food stall in coffee shop at Ang Mo Kio, serving some authentic Korean cuisine right at the hawker place.

The mini army stew is perfect for individual who looking for something just for one person.

Even as it is mini, they still packed it with lots of ingredients such as the ham, fish cake, hotdog, pork belly, enoki, tofu, kimchi, sliced cheese and ramen. You also could request for poached egg add-on as well.

I’m glad that the soup was still warm and delicious when it reached my house.

Th coffeshop is located in a quiet neighbourhood in AMK and there’s not many diners around, however this stall apparently can get busy with online orders! There’s a promotion of army stew with cheese (refillable soup) + 4 pieces of Korean fried chicken at $27.90. The best part of this set is actually the fried chicken - it tasted on par or if not better than the other big Korean brands’ 👍🏻

The army stew and cheese were disappointing. We don’t quite get how to coat our food with the cheese as it was not molten nor melting nicely. The army stew was very spicy and there’s not many ingredients included. I’m not too picky on this since the price is reasonable, but will expect more if there’s no promotion.

Nestled in a quiet coffeeshop, staff was friendly. Presentation was good, food was decent, super affordable.
