Tucked away in Marina Square @marinasquaresg ,@shangpinhotpot is a hidden hotpot gem that also serve up IG-worthy bingsu & milk tea hotpot alongside authentic Sichuan Chinese dishes that is satisfying without burning a hole in our wallets!!

Offering heartwarming broth such as tongue-tingling Si Chuan Spicy Soup, Golden Chicken Soup or Tomato Soup, alongside a wide diverse range of ingredients like Shang Pin Beef, US Black Pork Slices, Beef Cheese Balls, Sea Urchin Ball, Chongqing-style noodles etc. Seafood lover can go for gourmet range of fresh seafood such Soon Hock Fish, Crab, Premium Crab Meat, Bullfrog etc. For the more adventures, can go for beef omasum, beef tripe, kidney and liver.

For the sweet tooth, they have two regular milk teas to choose from, including a Brown Sugar Pearl Milk Tea, otherwise opt for the very IG-worthy Milk Tea Pot, which comes with soft and chewy yam balls, grass jelly, red beans, and more. Is a pity they sold out when I'm there. Thankfully their equally famous, Korean-inspired flavoured bingsu is still available. I got the Oreo bingsu and it didn't disappoint. Coming from a hotpot place, this bingsu actually taste so much better a dessert shop that would offer. I would love to go back just for that! **Note, you can also find Shang Pin Hotpot in Parkway Parade @parkwayparadesg but these unique dessert offerings are only available at the Marina Square @marinasquaresg outlet.

The dining here is spacious and the relaxing atmosphere is approachable, this alongside friendly service. I definitely be back.

I ordered the Pork Slices and Shang Pin Beef. The quality of meat is good and they are sliced thinly making them easy to cook via shabu shabu style. All the ingredients here are fresh and with quality.

There is also wide selection of sauces and fruits at self service counter available for $4 per person. The sauces range from sesame, soya, peanut, chilli, fermented bean paste, etc. Is a very wide variety!

You can choose to end off your meal with their bubble tea hotpot, where you'd get a pot of cold milk tea, with toppings including taro/ sweet potato balls, pearls, grass jelly etc.

Particularly enjoyed their snow beef and black pork slices. They also offer Fish, Scallops, Mushroom, and some cooked food!

@shangpinhotpot is pretty interesting because they offer bubble tea hotpot, bingsu, and bubble tea on top of the usual steamboat.

We got a mix of 4 soup bases - Si Chuan Spicy Soup, Tomato Soup, Collagen Soup and Golden (Pumpkin) Chicken Soup.
The Si Chuan soup was indeed spicy, like what you'd get from mala. The other 3 soup bases were pretty great to cook your meat in, and even better when paired with the self-made sauces.

This is a highly recommended hotpot place to go for comparable with HDL but at cheaper price and shorter waiting time. Food are fresh, service is great. Love their tomato soup base the most.
