Can’t resist ourselves from grabbing another scoop of ice-cream since we decided to finish off the Spicy Crabby Croissant only after having our ice-creams for The Humble Scoop — so we found ourselves winding up at SugarTree Gelato to have another scoop of ice-cream.

Of all of the flavours that they have to offer, the Pear Jasmine Sorbet is one that caught our attention the most. While the flavour, despite being a sorbet, felt rather creamy and rich, the Pear Jasmine Sorbet stood out with its alluring floral note from the Jasmine that was really distinct in its finish that perfumes through the taste buds; the pear giving it just that right balance by giving the sorbet a starting note that is fruity and lightly sweet — closer towards being a neutral flavour that made up for a pretty harmonious combination overall.

I think Kovan people love ice cream a lot because I found so many ice cream or gelato shop within walking distance!

But I wanted to try this, as they have some interesting flavours and there’s also some alfresco public seating right outside the shop.

For something light and not too strong in the taste, you definitely should try their pear jasmine sorbet. $4.20

Love how this little hide out has its unique seasonal flavours and plus points for the cosy alfresco corners outside as you nib on the ice creams. Just a stone's throw away from kovan MRT, this ice cream outlet shares some interesting flavours - where we got the intense sesame (can't go wrong) and the hibiscus gelate which honestly tasted like meiji strawberry milk ice cream. Double scoop at $7.60.

Will look forward to seeing what other flavours they have e.g. keylime cheesecake, banana milk!

Chanced upon this small gelato shop and was nicely surprised that it was quite yummy. Chrysanthemum Oolong is definitely a must try!
