I really love the seaweed served here. Super umami with taste of sea n shrimp. It’s complicated but addictive. The seared scallop was indulging, flavorful. I love the seaweed.
Marinated in soya sauce with yuzu zest to add character and to balance out the saltness of the soya. The hidden wasabi was a little overpowering thou. Wish they have a menu to know what im eating~
Sweetness, firmness of the prawn with slightly vinegared rice. Would prefer it served raw though.
Brushed with soya sauce, the fats melted nicely with every chew and delivered a nice bouquet in my mouth and sweet aftertaste. Just the way i like my Maguro to be.
Aburi’d with oakwood charcoal right infront of us, served brushed with quality soya with a tinge of sweetness and freshly grated wasabi
The ingredients are certainly fresh, the service impeccable, and you can have a very good omakase meal here, but this is the least favourite among my top sushi restaurants in Singapore. Compared to the two Shinji’s, Ashino, Kisho, Kimura, the dishes are much less diverse. I have a bias against 2-Mich-star Shoukouwa, where we had horrific service.
