soft inside crispy outside 💕

Haven’t been to cafes in awhile, prices are rather pricey but so far everything I had was pretty good! The rosti was crisp, paired well with the mentaiko mayo and ikura; texture of the smoky octopus was just right! Topped with bonito flakes, it reminded me a little of okonomiyaki 😂

Al dente squid ink pasta, umami prawn bisque which was slightly garlicky. Prawns were slightly overcooked but this didn’t marr the enjoyment😬

Puff pastry with silky scrambled egg, mushroom and bacon, on Ikura Caviar Beurre Blanc. Really enjoyed this! The puff pastry was crisp, but of course, it gets soggy after soaking up the delish, fragrant butter sauce with the pop of brininess. Portion isn’t huge so this is perfect if you’re not too hungry.

this is the best brunch item there - mushroom tart on top of cream with ikura is a play on salmon sorrel ❤️ an elevated brunch dish worth mentioning :)

looks pretty but sadly underwhelming as the soufflé was quite flat and mushy :(
