Finally back in Singapore!!! And first thing I did was to get one of my food craves for breakfast this morning. This is a pretty new and underrated bakery which serves the usual bao and polo bao in many different flavours, like 奶油芝士, Japanese red bean, chocolate, even sweet potato! They also sell other pastries like 老婆饼 and even things like charcoal 蛋挞. I regularly flock to this place because the pastry is so buttery and fragrant, with a soft and flaky texture! They are really generous with their toppings too. I love how the buns are served hot all the time as well 😋

Salted egg cheese tart 비켜라❗

Yeap..move !!!! Get out the way. 😂Who needs salted egg tart when you have durian tart?? *or maybe it's just me* If you love durian, ☝ that up there was too good to be kept alone. So good I'm going to get more tomorrow! Warm, slightly crispy [pastry kind of pie], comes with generous durian filling sprinkled with sliced roasted almonds. Not overly sweet, nor crazy creamy -- 😍😍 no fancy store, no fancy name, and best? No fancy price.

Super flaky #叉烧 酥. I love it warm! Why is their Chinese name 王子 but English is Taaizi is a mystery. Maybe it has as many as meanings as the number of layers in the #puffpastry. 😁

This simple delight is really something that stirs my childhood memories! I will always remember my mum and grandma buying me a luncheon meat soft bun as a snack. The thin slice of fried egg to go along brought about a taste which reminds me of the Cha Chan Teng (Tea Restaurants) in Hongkong! Must try 4/5

Walked past and this reminded me of the bolo buns I had in Raohe / HK so I decided to get one - 奶油芝士 (cream cheese) from this HK-style bakery. Crispy, crumbly, could be fluffier and usually the ones I had uses cold butter in contrast with the piping hot bun. But honestly no complains, I think this might be one of the better bolo buns I had in Singapore. My order was buttery, with a THICK SLAB of cream cheese!
