Scissors cut Hainanese curry rice. This plate has pork chop that’s freshly fried, cabbage, long beans and omelette for $4.40.

The sauces drizzled over the rice were tasty. There’s a long queue even on weekday at 1030am.

Yuan Cheng Carrot Cake (01-33). $3 for a big packet of carrot cake for takeaway. This stall is popular with perpetual queue. Auntie who is frying is very polite and this is definitely a competent plate of carrot cake. Worth trying if in this hawker centre.

Had the roasted duck leg and char siew rice ($9)

The char siew is nicely charred and I like the savoury sauce that’s packed separately. Duck skin could have been crispier.

Ordered Wanton Mee ($3.50) and dumpling soup ($3.50) for takeaway.

The noodles is cooked al dente with a nice savoury dark sauce. The dumplings were meaty and there’s 5 pieces for $3.50, pretty good value. Can understand the long queue.

This hawker is pretty Crowded on sunday morning. Didnt have much time to queue for the other awesome food there.

Decided to try this muslim food stall. .

Shorter queue and tasted surprisingly nice.

Got this from the other chicken rice stall, but I much prefer the version from the other stall (name has Tiong Bahru in it) which was way more flavorful, just that you’ll have to queue for that one.
