Super succulent and moist, the Roast Irish Duck ($22/ Quarter) was another hit. A tad fatty and heavy but the glistening skin had that lovely crackling crispiness. One to share among 3 to 4 people, the protein was really well-executed. Would go great with a steaming bowl of rice.
In the mood for fancy hor fun, The Dragon Chamber’s Wagyu Truffle Beef Hor Fun ($32) ticked all the right boxes for me. Doused in a copious amount of rich truffle gravy; the slurpy noodles were so moreish. The wok fried flat noodles, crispy deep-fried hor fun strips, silky poached egg and slices of premium US Wagyu short rib came together nicely offering a myriad of fun textures. Though the sauce could definitely be more earthy and “truffle-y”, the hot savoury mix was flavourful without being cloying. The beef was tender too and seasoned well.
Flat noodles wok fried served in a bowl with short rib and a poached egg was brought to the table, before the staff poured piping hot truffle gravy into it and mixed everything up for me before my eyes. Upon serving I was already wowed by the aroma, and with everything mixed up together as it should be, the flavours all worked out very well. Loved how the truffle gave that extra kick, and how the shortrib was decently tender. But what I really enjoyed was the deep fried hor fun strips which was a fun addition to the dish, with a nice crunch that blended with all the savouriness.

Deep fried chicken chunks though the batter was made softer with the lemon sauce that was on the sweeter side. The crushed milk crackers wasn’t very milky in taste, but the crunch it gave with the chicken chunks was delightful. The broccoli was somehow very well executed!? Pretty decent dish but something I’d skip to try something else.

This dish was amazing. Wok hey taste was nicely balance with truffle. And interesting mix with some crunchy bits inside.
As a yolk-pr0n egg lover, I couldn't pass up the Wagyu Truffle Beef Hor Fun ($32++ Small, pictured / $58++ Large). Coupled with the fact that it has everything I love in a bowl.
While I found the presence of truffle lacking in this dish, it made up for it on other fronts: Silky smooth noodles & tender slices of wagyu beef, tied together by a copious amount of rich sauce to tantalize your taste buds.
After this was served to our table, our waitress broke the yolk & mixed everything nicely for us. So get your phones/cameras out for a nice video opportunity, & some oohs & aahs....

I was pleasantly surprised by the Wasabi Prawn with Tobiko ($26++ Small, pictured / $48++ Large). Several places over-fry the prawns & they end up being dry on the inside, overly oily on the outside... But not The Dragon Chamber.
This small portion was enough for 2 pax to share. The batter was light & crispy, & the sautéed de-shelled prawns remained juicy with a firm bite to them. Wasabi sauce was more creamy than spicy; I would've liked more of a kick to it, but that isn't a crime. Lots of tobiko atop each piece for that added crunch. Would order this again.

Admittedly, I was drawn to The Dragon Chamber because of how fascinating it is to enter the premises - through what looks like a fridge door.
I was on the hunt for a Chinese restaurant to bring my tourist friend from the US to. The interior seats here looked comfortable enough for a good catch up session. & indeed, it was... Not too noisy as well, as the tables were spaced out nicely.
There are several unique, head-turning items on their menu, e.g. Dragon Claw ($60++), D*** Soup ($30++) (just a crocodile's penis in soup), Flaming Pineapple Beef ($32++), but for the less adventurous there are regular, tasty options to choose from. & vegetarian options as well.

Lovely ambience brought by the speakeasy concept, and this was nicely paired with delicious and unique Chinese food. Every dish we ordered was 💯 The staff serving us was extremely attentive, a bonus as well!
I personally felt that this dish wasn’t worth the $18 price tag as the freshness of the kale was lost in the cooking. I much prefer munching on raw crisp kale in my salads 😅
As promised to myself, I am back!!! This time I tried a new dish- this was egg spinach tofu and charcoal-infused tofu served with lightly caramelised pumpkins and mushrooms on a bed of pumpkin sauce. Every element of this dish was delightful and it was so pleasing on the eye 😍
Surprisingly juicy and flavourful. Resembled that a little of what is served at wedding banquets but a very yummy version. I even dabaoed home the remaining cos it's so good I can't let it go to waste.
Probably the famed soup. For $30 it's a really small bowl. But I guess good for the been there done that? Tastes 10/10 quality soup too but I probably will not order again.
I wasn't expecting the food at dragon chamber to be this good. But almost every dish was a hit!
This was a simple dish but done very well. It reminded me of cai png but somehow elevated with lots of zhup. I will definitely return again.

Great fusion Chinese food in here. The must order would be the truffle hor fan; topped with crispy noodles and an amazing truffle sauce.
It is a hip place to visit with a hidden entrance.
The truffle beef hor fun is a must-try dish .
Innovative and bold !
We ordered 5-6 dish and the total cost is ard 250. It is pretty fair for five adults lunch.
***HIGHLIGHT OF THE NIGHT***
Comes with Premium A4 Kogoshima Wagyu, Horfun that’s filled with wokhei, crispy deep-fried horfun strips, poached egg and of course, their special truffle gravy.
This really sets the standard for horfun so high that it’ll tough to look at your normal horfun the same way ever again......
The beef melts in your mouth while the crispy horfun adds a contrast of texture even after absorbing the truffle sauce.
Overall, this dish is packed with flavours and textures. Nothing from Dragon Chamber is average yknow.
Very unassuming, not one of their signatures but turned out to be one of the highlights of the night. The squid cakes were salty, fragrant and reminded us of fatty pork belly but much much softer :’-)
Literally everything from Dragon Chamber is exceptional!!
