The House Chungdam

Absolutely loved the food here! :-) The beef was cooked perfectly—super tender, juicy, and had just the right amount of fat. It melted in my mouth and was full of flavor. The beef tartare with avocado was also excellent—the two really complemented each other well, creating a fresh, creamy balance without any gamey or overpowering raw taste. The potato jeon was another favorite—crispy on the outside, with a cheesy, flavorful filling inside. Everything was well-executed and delicious. Definitely recommend!

The visit to there was amazing, from the atmosphere, decor and also the ambience. Even the service was brilliant! Before the meal we had panchan, which was all good. Personally i love their handmade kinchi and also their salad. When the mains arrive, the meat was sooo tender!! To my surprise, both Pork tender and jowl was not tough at all but tender and juicy!! Next, was the thinky sliced brisket,short rib and marinated short rib which was all soo tender.ohmygodd they are literally melted in my mouth, BEST BEEF MEAT! My favourite was the marinated short rib among the rest but they were all sooo good! Go ahead and try guys! The house feast includes soybean soup, steamed egg and many all which i felt that it was worth it. Additionally, we had the Cheese- Potato Jeon which was also sooo good, tasted like rosti with the fragrant mozeralla cheese, also mong my favourite!! Best experience i’ve had so far and defintely will be back for more!

The beef and pork was incredible, cooked perfectly with just the right balance of tenderness, juiciness, and fat. Melted in my mouth and was bursting with flavor.

The beef tartare paired with avocado was equally impressive, offering a fresh, creamy combination without any strong raw taste. The hint of lime also provided a refreshing flavour profile to the dish!

Everything was thoughtfully prepared and delicious. The atmosphere was really nice too! Highly recommend!

Interior was beautiful and elegant, with vents right above the sizzling meat to minimise the smoke and oil getting onto our clothes.

Ordered the House Feast - pork set for 2 ($79) and enjoyed the steamed egg (it comes half-cooked and creamy!) and soybean soup (hearty, with meat chunks, mushrooms, tofu, etc.) that came with it. The kimchi was slightly spicy for me but went well with the bbq meats. Jinju Cold Buckwheat Noodles ($19) were so chewy and broth was refreshing.

Will be back to try the homemade red bean bingsu and cheese-potato jeon!

The House Chungdam had a lovely interior, and the sauces and side dishes laid out for us were extravagant. We had the following dishes, and will be back to try the beef kbbq

Pork jowl, pork collar, pork belly - they grilled it for us, top notch service
I liked the pork belly best and the vegetables were fresh

Served with egg and soybean soup with generous contents of tofu, mushroom, meat and potato. Soup was the highlight here, hearty and full of depth ❤️

Cold noodles - texture was perfectly chewy and their ingredients were so fresh ✅✅✅

Great place to come with family / group. Amazing selection of banchans (side dishes). Service was amazing - helped cook all of the meat ordered, explain each dishes. Loved the addition of curry powder in addition to the typical salt, salad. Amazing place and will definitely visit again to try more set dishes
