Everything we order here is bombastically delicious. Fusion food traditional meets modern.

The menu looks costlly but the portion they gave is genorous. We order 3 cocktails, 2 appetizers, 2 mains and 2 deserts for 4 people. On top of that TMC genorouslly gave us complimentary sambal kicap buffalow wing 😱👍 and durian pengat cake 🥰. $163 for 4 people when it actually should be for 6 to 7 people. We tapau some of the food home. Thus price range is like $23 to $27 per pax to satisfy food cravings and fill the stomach to its peak.

TMC can be a weeklly or monthlly ocassion. Savoure the taste instead of filling the stomach. If accidentally order more than u can eat call me or call your friends. I am sure we will gladly finish up your food for you. 😊

Barramundi dish was delish. Succulent flesh accompanied with a creamy potato mash. Potato mash was seasoned with something lemony to take away the oiliness of the fish.
Score: 8/10

Salmon dish was a let down. Sides were overdone and slightly dry. Skin was a little too salty for my liking. Potato mash that accompanied was a little stale. It kind of gave the feeling that the mash was plated slightly too early before the salmon was placed on the dish for serving. Too oily, will not re-order.
Score:5/10

Wild mushroom soup:
Not bad, but mushrooms in the soup seemed to have been placed in a blender and blended before being served. Truffle flavour mainly came from the the bread in the soup. Soup itself did not impress, have tasted better homemade mushroom soup elsewhere. Reminded me of baby food.
Score: 5/10.

Though food is just a mere pass, service left a lot to be desired.
Waited more than 1 hour before food came. Water only came after being seated for half an hour. And when food was served, it came in the wrong order.

Will I return? Perhaps, but only if you've plenty of patience and time to spare.

Went to The Malayan Council, the one near to ACS junior.

The first time I ordered this, the fish tasted a bit...un-fresh. I thought maybe the kitchen was having an off day but when I returned and tried it again, it tasted the same. This was a pity because the sauce was so good (my brother drank it up basically) and the ravioli was good too. Unfortunately the salmon is the star of the dish and it failed to live up to expectations

We ordered the soft shell crab rolls to share. I thought the batter tasted good but the crab itself wasn’t as fresh as I’d liked it to have been

I’ve been here twice and ordered the duck pasta both times. It is incredibly delicious and rich. If you don’t like spicy food, probably avoid this. I love spicy food but even I was reaching for my water after each bite. The sauce is smooth and full of flavour. It is big so share it unless you’re super hungry.

Ordered the highly raved Smoke Duck Linguine ($28) and very generous portion, recommended to share for two. Succulent pieces of smoke duck and I think this will suit those who love lemak cili padi but cannot take the spice as the taste is pretty watered down.

Cheesy Kupang ($15) was really delicious with huge and plenty of mussels thrown in. Had to mop all the deliciousness with bread, for an additional $5. Wish the bread was toasted instead of soft. Dish got too jelak at the end so recommended to share with at least 3!

The malayan wings ($14) was nice and crispy with kicap manis sauce. The salmon yakitori was on the house and this was nice as well with specks of cili padi and the sauce ( cuz it’s free also😅😂) Really good hospitality 👍

Last but not least, the most popular item here Ondeh-Ondeh Cake ($9.50) definitely did not disappoint with the taste staying true to the kueh itself. Eat with the vanilla ice cream at the side for a more cooling experience. Must try!!

Overall, have to say good food but even better service with free dish and a complimentary durian cake and $20 voucher with no minimum spending for our next return😱 Now this is how u get people to come back 💯
