boat noodles were mediocre but i rlly love this steam bun w kayaaaaa 💖 &&& the ice blended thai milk tea

This was so gooodddddd. I was initially worried that it might be too “siap” or too sweet but this Thai Iced Tea was not “siap” at all and had the perfect amount of sweetness for me. Delicious!

Can you guess what dish is this? This dish is actually fried papaya! To be honest, there is not much papaya taste to it at all. Even my mum who dislikes papaya can eat this. Don’t get me wrong, it tastes pretty good but just nothing like papaya.

✅Flame Grilled Ayam Legend(S$9.90++).

The chicken was moist and tender but the star of dish in my opinion was the dipping sauce served on the side. Sweet, salty, tangy and spicy which elevates the dish, giving you a flavour explosion in your mouth! Yummss

Do not be deceived by its unassuming appearance! This dish was surprisingly flavourful and delicious. One of the favourites of the night. Most importantly, for $4.90? WORTH

There are 4 different options of soup bases, with the choice of chicken or beef, as well as rice noodles or springy noodles. The 4 soup bases available are:
1. Pathumthani - Sourish, slightly spicy, herby dark soy sauce base
3. Ayutthaya - Contains coconut milk, richer and creamier broth
4. Creamy Tom Yum
5. Sweet Kuey Chap

We ordered a variety of different combinations (I forgot the combinations in each bowl😅) but all chicken as we do not eat beef. It was my first time eating boat noodles so it was a pretty interesting experience for me. I think all of the soup bases were unique in their own ways and worth trying out the different flavours but the sweet kuey chap was a bit too sweet for my liking, probably more suitable for the younger palettes.

They have the best sides ever!!! The Steamy Sangkayaa ($4.90) were so SOFT and the kaya was just a perfect match. The portion of kaya that came with it was more than enough! Crispy and flavorful chicken skin ($3.90) plus the grilled beef meat balls ($4.90); you could totally taste the grill. I’ve never been a huge fan of beef but this was rly good. Their boat noodles ($1.50) were legit and comes with 3 different broths for you to choose from. I’ve had bn with better broths, but this definitely sufficient to satisfy my bn cravings. What’s more, it’s the first legit halal bn I’ve had in sg :’ )
