The soup here is lighter than most, but the briny taste of shrimp is still evident and I like that it isn’t too oily. The pork rib prawn noodle soup ($5) is really substantial, with 2 prawns and 3 ribs. The pork is fatty but tender!

Only difference was it's flatter, like a more compact version. Nothing else.

The standards of this snack don't vary too much, so I shouldn't over-praise this. I'll say though the version here was denser.

Ordered the Prawn Noodle Soup with pork ribs. The soup was pretty bland. Prawns were not as fresh as I remembered it to be.

Original Tiong Bahru Golden Pig & Roasted stall prepares their roasted meat from scratch. My char siew was much on the juicy part but at the same time consider a bit oily for some part. $4

who loves cockles? this is my first time eating at tiong bahru market (one of the most famous hawker centre in Singapore and its origins date back to the time before WWII). Wanted to try those popular stalls but most were closed on a sunday afternoon. Managed to try: Tiong Bahru Char kway teow (#02-11), Jian bo Shui Kueh (#02-05), not sure if the rojak shop is from where but it’s near Char kway teow and Shui kueh stall. i love all the food that i ordered so delicious! #jxeatsrecommend
