Warning.. this was crafted after a good 1.5 hours wait ..

It was the last day of the Chope 1-for-1 voucher and I had no choice but to head down.

The voucher was worth $19, but in fact none of the ala carte ramen costed this high ($13-17 range).

I’d say the ramen in general just lacks depth in flavour and is very oily as what most reviews mentioned as well. (The film of oil solidified after I finished my review) Spicy tonkotsu just tasted spicy, the tsukumen singapore special only exutes bonito flavours.

“Honourable” mention to the chashu for being tender. But.. keep your eyes peeled, its all made of fats.. unacceptable

I’d definitely want to check on the deals in detail before purchasing in the future. There are much better ramen choices out there so highly unlikely to return.

3⭐ Purchased Chope year end sale 1 for 1 ramen and there's an option to choose from 4 ramens. WB selected Truffle Tonkotsu Soup Ramen and I had Uni & Chashu Dipping Ramen. Preferred the soup ramen to dipping ramen as the noodle used in the soup ramen is those thinner Hakata ramen while the dipping ramen is the thicker udon type. The truffle ramen broth is quite rich which complement the subtle truffle taste. I have mistaken that there's uni in the dipping ramen but it turns out the uni is blended in the dipping sauce. I would much prefer to eat uni on it's own.

Ambience was nice and waiters were friendly and attentive. The ramen was flavourful, as the soup had rich pork flavour and was very creamy and rich. The noodles had a nice chew despite it being thin. The chasiew had a nice char, and was fatty with some tenderness of the meat.

One of the worst ramen I've eaten. The uni soup was delicious, but was let down by very tough noodles. If a ramen brand cannot get its ramen right, no other ingredients matter. Although the chashu was smoky from the charcoal, it could be fattier.

Their most basic bowl. What stands out at Torasho is the very thick, almost creamy soup. It's also yummy. Although the chashu was smoky from the charcoal, it could be fattier.
