Came here for lunch at Chinatown Point’s outlet and there was a short queue. The variety on the menu isn’t a lot but they do serve most of the essentials of a dimsum meal. Do try their specialty - the XO sauce steamed carrot cake, which comes with their special XO chilli sauce.

Char Siew cheong fun ($4.80)

Amount of charsiew inside was substantial and the cheong fun was soft and thin. However, the sauce was not sweet nor salty enough. It made the whole dish lacklustre. Personally I will not order it again.

Crispy golden prawn rolls ($4.80)

Slightly oily but taste wise was good and it came hot. Prawns inside still had a nice bite.

Golden egg yolk lava bun ($4.80 for 3)

Not as nice as before anymore. The skin of the bun was slightly hard on the outside. Inside was still hot and flowy and oily which is nice.

Sze chuan dumplings in spicy sauce ($5.50)

Do not order. Thumbs down!!
Dumping itself is alright, inside the skin is meat and cabbage. However, the sauce is neither spicy nor salty/sour. The garlic with it also did not go well.

Carrot cake with XO sauce ($4.80)

Price is slightly steep but the carrot cake was moist and tasty and went very well with the soy sauce and XO sauce provided.
