was so excited to find out they were opening in sg after trying in taiwan! personally felt it wasn’t as good (?) but could be simply because i‘m not overseas 😅 nevertheless pearls could be softer but brown sugar was yummy! one of the more pricey bbt in the market but worth a try~

Not a huge fan of brown sugar drinks cos some places makes it overly sweet and so I was quite skeptical when purchasing this.

For XFT, I was able to taste the fragrant brown sugar when sipping on my fresh milk

Drink was rather enjoyable and not too sweet.

Pearls were rather inconsistent in texture with some being harder than the rest. Not sure if it cos I bought it in the morning and the pearls not soaked long enough ??

So cutee the drinks ! mango smoothie with the white rabbit jelly on top hehe

While the brown sugar bobba milk is most well known for at Xing Fu Tang, health conscious people will be glad to know that they serve healthy teas too like the roasted oolong tea pictured. Quirky plastic cup that with the 女神 label. Haha, don't understand why?!?

Still on the brown sugar bubble milk band wagon so got to try this when I was in town. From queuing to getting my drink I waited for about 10-15 mins on a weekend, think it’s quite reasonable since it’s famous. The brown sugar did not disappoint, texture was smooth and pearls were chewy the way I like them. Though the brown sugar taste wasn’t that prominent. The other drink was lightly roasted oolong. Oolong taste was aromatic and drink was smooth no complaint. Not my favourite brown sugar milk but worth trying!

Thankfully @xingfutangsg exercised better customer service than I initially encountered and offered me a replacement drink for the disappointment i encountered the previous visit.
As can be seen, the drink definitely fared better in terms of aesthetics at least this time, and the brown sugar pearls were at least served warm. But overall the drink was simply too milky and creamy and the brown sugar taste lacking, though detectable.
Ultimately I still stand by my verdict (personal preference) that this isn't worth my $$ and time 😅
