Bad idea. Squid cooked this way feels so cheap. Worse, I knew it's gonna be like this. Incredibly small too.
Went for the BB $48 for 2 set meal which comes with garlic pork ribs, homemade tofu and chilli crab. The portion is the typical zi char small serving portion and hence this should cost around $48 too if you order ala carte without BB. Restaurant also charges a compulsory purchase of appetiser cracker.
However the food was good so oh well~
Dishes were good. Appropriate for family dinners. However, waiting time was > 30min. Suitable if you are not in a rush
This seafood restaurant offers really good zichar dishes as well and some that we ordered were the Champagne Pork Ribs ($20 for Large), Salted Egg Yolk Prawn ($22 for Small), Prawn Paste Chicken ($20 for Large) and the Sliced Fish with Ginger ($22 for Large). All dishes were very well cooked, but were slightly too savoury! The best to me is the Sliced Fish with Ginger, because the sauce goes very well with rice and it's very satisfying to mop up all the gravy!
You can use #burpplebeyond here and that will definitely save up so much costs 😍
told the person we using burpple beyond then it seemed like the lady serving us wasnt v happy bout it. according to the menu in the app they say main dish only (minus rice noodle dish) but when we ordered they were saying nope we just gonna take the cheaper one as freeee - ok la i geddit but i feel like the person was v pagro to us and only towards the end her attitude was better. maybe cus they busy? idk man but overall food is pretty good - servings were q small tho at such high prices its like at least 20 bucks per dish cus we ordered mostly large but they came to be q ok sized HAHA saved q a bit w burpple beyond!!

the pieces were huge and they're not stingy with the salted egg, plus plus PLUS they don't feel oily/greasy like how most other restaurants serve up theirs!
