The stall assistant she told me that need to consume in warm and don't let to be cold. She told me that need to order minimum x2 buns instead of 1 bun because the oven is quite big to reheat.

Pandan Kaya Bun ($3)
I decided to try this out today morning since it's pandan kaya and reheat by the toaster first. as indeed mentioned by the stall assistant, she told me that bun itself taste quite a bit salty due to the fillings would be quite sweet especially kaya and chocolate. I really enjoy their bun tbh especially filling was really too much for me and also grateful that I already venture somewhere that I don't wanted to do after work.

Melted Chocolate Bun ($3.20)
I finally tried their bun and reheat it again because the chocolate really melted once I press the bun off. It's so shiok tbh and chocolate got mixed with hazelnut (not that sweet but nutty aftertaste).

Matcha Latte ($4.50) (25% Sugar)

I did expected that it's gonna be slightly sweet due to the condensed milk that they used. Matcha was quite sweet and not bitter aftertaste. They mixed well with matcha and milk together after shaking it together.

🍞 Lotus Biscoff Yaowarat Bun

I swear this bun looks a lot better fresh, the fillings are flowy and oozy when heated, so dont let the dry-ish appearance in this pic deceive you because this bun is bussin af 😙

The amount of fillings are really generous and the bread is well buttered, making it crispy with a buttery fragrance. Definitely a biscoff lover's dream.

So far @yungyung.sg has been impressing me with their yaowarat buns! Despite the simple appearance, I like how indulgent they are and the generosity of the butter makes it all the more bettrr 👌

First time trying Yaowarat buns, to be honest I previously didnt really see what was the hype with them given how they appear to be normal bread buns with fillings, but @yungyung.sg surpassed my expectations.

This Chocolate Yaowarat Bun is generously buttered such that its really buttery and much more flavourful and crispy. The chocolate filling is generous and oozy (unfortunately it hardened a bit in this pic after I brought it home so you gotta retoast it for the best results) and it has a nice cocoa taste! Was expecting it to be like milk chocolate or taste similar to nutella but its a lot richer.

Very impressed by this bun! Would get again.

Are you missing Thailand's Toasted Lava Buns?!
If you are, yet unable to travel, here's a good alternative for your Yaowarat Bread Buns in Singapore 🤭.

Bis-Choco Bun ($3.50)
A combination of Chocolate and Lotus Biscoff Spread, topped with Lotus Biscoff Cookie Crumbs. Gotta say this was really sinfully good. The Bun came piping hot with crispy outsides, and gooey lava Chocolate and Biscoff filling, topped off with Cookie Crumbs for stronger taste and texture. It was such a messy affair, but I really loved how the flavours came together, including the buttery fragrance from the well-toasted bun 🤤.

Peanut Butter Bun ($2.80)
This on the other hand was kinda disappointing - not because of the bun, but the filling. The peanut butter didn't really have the fragrant pb flavour I was looking for, and it just tasted really sweet. Would prob skip this for other flavours next time!

NGL it's pretty pricey (if you're comparing to Thailand), but if you really don't have a chance to head to Thailand for the real deal, here's a nice alternative to satisfy some cravings!
