Went back to Yuu Xiang Dam for a second visit in just two weeks, but this time at the other smaller outlet at 340 Geylang Rd #01-11 S389365
For this trip, we got the Muak Muak Ice Almond and Black Sesame ($9.80). We thought that this flavour was pretty special! This came with peanut shavings, redbeans, mochi cubes as well has a cream roll biscuit!
Good place to head to for quality chinese dessert at the Geylang Area. But if you want more comfortable seating, head to their other bigger cafe outlet at 83A/85A Geylang Road Level 2 Singapore 389200
@yuuxiangdam- has opened a second outlet at 83a Geylang Rd, Singapore 389200!
This place is hidden on the second floor (above Gold Leaf Restaurant)! The space is spacious and they open until 1am! Great place for late night hangout with your khakis! Best part, it is fully air conditioned!
They sell a variety of hot and cold chinese desserts, shaved ice, drinks, pancakes, as well as some savoury ricebowl and snacks!
Featured here are the following items:
-Yam Paste ($4.50): There is pumpkin, lotus seed and corn in the bowl, apart from the orh nee!
-Peanut Glutinous Rice Ball ($4.50): This is served with little mochi balls too!
-Mango Muak-Muak Ice ($10.50): Fresh sweet mangoes with super smooth ice shavings and a scoop of vanilla ice cream!
-Ham Cheese and Salted egg Ding Dang Pancake ($5.80): Savoury crispy pancake with a side of crispy fries! Chilli sauce and kewpie mayo dips are provided too.
-Ah Gong Specialty Braised Pork Rice (Small for $6.80): Love the braised pork rice, as the meat was not the too fatty cut.

The food items and desserts are all made in house!
Location: Yuu Xiang Dam Dessert Cafe at 83A/85A Geylang Road Level 2 Singapore 389200
Now this hole in the wall dessert shop might look underwhelming, but their desserts sure are not! Their yam paste ($3.80) taste really homely, with a very interesting addition of corn pieces. With that, the dessert has a sweet and salty taste which I do appreciate! It is thick but not surfeiting at all. We got their Tang Yuan with barley soup ($3.50) and you can really tell its homemade! The tang yuan balls have quite a bit of filling too! Great affordable dessert spot, will come by again when I am around the area!
