Trying their bundung drink and it was fitting for the hot weather although it was slightly too sweet for my liking. Can't go wrong with a freshly toasted kaya butter bun though!
Decided to try their healthier version of the toast set. Had thin light slices of wholemeal bread that were surprisingly soft and went well with the eggs! Looks like healthy can be tasty too!
Healthy version of their nasi lemak with chicken drumstick 😂 Rice was quite dry but chicken was succulent and not too oily!
Basmati flavoured rice with their super sedap sambal chilli and fried chicken wing! Best paired with iced bandung!
Quick, simple, no fuss brekkie to start the day. I love the texture of their toasted bread!
For $2.80..this is an interesting rendition of chee cheong fan. Like a combination of longing + chee cheong fan..goes well with a dollop of their sambal chilli!
Just right amount of spice and kick. This is my go to dish at 1983. Not too jelat and the noodles are always springy and fresh. Never fails to satisfy my mee rebus cravings! YUMS!
The fries were lukewarm so minus points there. The salad was decent. Fresh and crispy. The chicken was thigh meat. Quite tender. But the sauce was a let down. Despite its deep brown color, it was far too bland.
The rice was not to my liking. No fragrance that I could detect, but at least it wasn’t mushy. The chicken was ok but I spotted a strand of hair mixed into the chicken, which couldn’t be mine cos then it wouldn’t be wet with sauce. Chili was not spicy enough for me.
Since moving, i barely eat local delicacies and i craved for it as well thus, i tried this food court. Tried the nasi lemak (not really a local delicacy is it). It was so-so, the chilli aside (was decent) 3/5
This is my usual tea break after church. The rice is fragrant with the scent of coconut milk and pandan. This rice is not the mushy type. Cooked just right, you can see each grain winking at you under the spotlight. Ask for extra sambal chili and mix thoroughly with the rice. Perfect! I do not like the fried fish so I usually ask to have it replaced with another pc of egg. I do so wish they offer sunny side up but I have never seen it. Thou the fried chicken leg is the star of the dish, the sambal and rice play important supporting roles. The chicken is delightfully crispy and we always fight over the skin. I am grateful they have maintained their good standards all these years. Wash everything down with a cup of strong aromatic kopi siu siu dai. Mission for Sunday is complete.
Indulgence at its highest with the creamy spaghetti and fried fillet fish. Fish was average but spaghetti not too bad. It was abit pricey but for the place being located right at marina bay sands, you cant complain much.
Ice Gula Melaka milk tea is interesting but adding grass jelly to it gets it up to dessert level. Really interesting. Posted by Ah Leong San 2015 August 24.

My Fish Fillet Aglio Olio value meal costs SGD12.50. The fillet is well prepared, fresh, very crispy, batter is light and coated thinly with bread flour. #AglioOlio is full of flavour & so generous with the #garlic! Very fragrant. Cheese fries is crispy. No funny smell & taste of overused oil at all. Rating: 9/10. 👍👍👍
Worth the price. I can just eat the aglio olio on its own, but they dun sell it this way.
