Chunks of fish were really fresh. You can taste the sweetness of the flesh.

The bursts of tobiko with plump vinegary sushi rice was very appetising too.

What I felt was unpleasant is how much sesame dressing lathers the small portion of salad vegetables. Sometimes, less is more :)

Pancake was very Cake-like and dense!

Pretty filing. BEWARE of jelakness after 3 bites.

The bananas weren’t caramelised though. Yet I was so glad for the slight tart that really helped to cut through everything.

The honeycomb ice cream was also immensely sweet.

That velvety looking sauce over the pulled pork looks so promising.

But I suppose the whole curry flavoured pulled pork wasn’t quite what we expected or admired for a choice of marinate.

The scrambles also proved to be less than a luscious creamy.. it was pretty dry and stiff for ours.

Not all that great a breakfast option.

The sourdough was also just like the other counterparts, pretty meh. Not toasted, not buttered..

In a 公鸡碗!!! So adorable!! ☺️

It was fresh thick creamy cold pressed coconut milk and authentic Gula Melaka that had a tinge of mild saltiness.

I love this!!

They were bouncy, succulent under a CRISP and clean exterior.

I couldn’t quite remember how the curry stood out. It was pretty piquant, salty but that’s about it.

Glad they didn’t douse the fried items and made it soggy under the gravies!

Such chewy unagi!!

These really were the words that resounded every biteful. Aside from that, I wouldn’t say there was any remarkable char smokiness or flavour of the marinate. But generous portion of unagi!

I did enjoy the multigrain pearl rices. This was a unique touch.

These were some juicy fishballs and al dente noodles! It was really tender poached pork slices too

Loved the generous crisp lards! 😋

But found the sambal/vinegar sauce mix not SHIOK or piquant enough for a lasting impression

It was fresh, but nothing memorable.
And I don’t think it was really worth it for such a small portion!

Gotta try something salted egg for our tourist white friend who’s never heard of salted egg before.

Would think there could be more creamy or saucey umami to this but overall average fried pork chop. Thankfully not too dried out meat ☺️

Did you know, raw kale has spicy almost curry scented notes?

This was really raw. Hahah. With some oddly sweeeet dressing.

Loved the dukkah that added a pleasant grain fragrance though.
