When you want slightly sour & tangy soup for brunch, this is the one. The junction 8 outlet's got an outdoor seating. Slurping this mee siam along with sipping Teh O warm my tummy with a bit of chilli & tamarind. The ingredients (shredded chicken, vermicelli noodle, boiled egg, Puffed Tofu) are packed and filling for a person. I might come back to check out their ondeh Ondeh toast set ($5.80) later.๐Ÿ˜‹

As i have to pick up someone at airport, so why not try this at B2 Jewel? ๐Ÿ˜‰ Their shop is tucked in the food corner near the Food Republic. My order is 2ร—Prawn Vadais ($1.90), 1 Grago Vadai ($1.90), 1 Vege Vadai ($1.50) p.s. Grago = shrimp paste. The guy gave me 5 chillis as if he could guess I am heavy in chilli department. ๐Ÿ˜†

I kept these Vadais in my bag until I am back from Jewel (bad practice better eat while it's hot). Thanks to my oven 180 degree 2 mins, I can have them hot & crispy again. They are super! Prawn vadai is a must, vege vadai also good for green munchers. The grago one doesnt like to be reheated so make sure you dont leave it too long in the oven. All in all, I will repeat my order if i want to indulge. ๐Ÿ˜Œ๐Ÿ”ฅ

๐Ÿค“ The size is varied according to the price they set for the day ($1.90 -$2.20). They sell this small glutinous rice block in a plastic bag. Taste similar to bak zhang sans meat. It's slightly salty with a small prawn and ๐Ÿ„ throughout texture. Portion is quite small (kueh size)

If ever first visit in the noodle shop, I always opt for dry noodle instead of soup one as the soup version requires serious skill to pull off. This dry la mian tastes on point with the dark gravy chicken sauce. They also give 2 fried wantons, 2 crab sticks, fried garlic & anchovies topping. It's a decent noodle bowl with no dull moment on texture. Not so spicy as per dish name... I suppose that I should try Mala one next! ๐Ÿ˜๐ŸŒถ๐ŸŒถ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Healthy lunch after NDP. ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ’Ÿ Drizzle orange sauce as suggested by lady at the stall. Spinach soup doesn't taste very strong and just right concentration. Crispy fish is the highlight. You can also request for no peanuts. Don't forget your chilli slice, always! โœŒ๏ธ๐Ÿ˜Š

As a fan of glutinous rice, this might cost twice of general one but well worth it. It is slightly sweet so pairing it with chilli fried shallot keep this a balanced diet ๐Ÿ˜โœŒ๏ธ

A second stall in Junction 8 that I tried upon seeing the queue. The queue is longer than the Sister Kim Korean stall but maybe because it has no Q number calling. Smelling some wok hey aroma. Portion looks good. Time to count ingredients (small prawn ร—2, sausage plenty) + beansprout, egg and kway teow. Palateable & well coated with sauce noodle. Back to clean mode this weekend ๐Ÿ’ช

Walked around food junction (top floor of Junction 8) and found this stall having nice private seating area. Coupled with the fact that I was so hungry that only rice would do. I ordered this hotstone bibimbap and asked how long wait? He said "10 mins". True to his words, i got this hot stone dish in no time. It was shiok(thanks to red sauce that the boss ask "want or not" and i took it ๐Ÿ˜„). It's better than average bibimbap (i won't jump on coach for it but it's heart warming and delish enough for me as I am a big fan of veggies toppings). Back to the grind. Grab this takeaway last night. Ready for breakfast munch simply warm it in steamer (don't leave too long to avoid sogginess โœŒ๏ธ). It's full of goodies - should add more chestnut as they give loads of pork belly cube. Tasty breaky option. Keep it up pal, almost there! ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ™Œ
