🔸 Spinach Gomae $2 (Red spinach, black sesame & cheddar cheese). 👌
🔸 Leek wasabi $2.50 (Leek, wasabi mayo, dried parsley). 👍
ESP. Leek wasabi blown us away!👅
P.S. some of these veggie buno creation contain egg, cheese & sesame.

One of the well known duck rice places in Toa Payoh. We are surprised by how neat the duck meat is sliced into equal length strips. Can’t complain as we are satisfied with their dishes (the soup & gravy are delicious) plus fresh cucumber & tomato. Really good value dish as we paid just $3.50 each! 🤑

Catch up with a very good friend on Friday. Being quite clumsy, naturally carrying the tray to the second floor is not recommended. 😜 Spoil the Latte Art on Matcha Latte.

Not as good as pork belly but still satisfy our hunger. Try it if you have enough of pork belly Banh mi.

The quickest dish was served in less than 3 mins since we placed the order. Simple ingredients & quite small portion, we finish in no time. Good for rush hour lunch

Master Baker Chef Nick Chua has totally nailed his artisan bread making from Hannover coupled with his perfect ingredients: non-GMO wheat from Hildesheim. What more could we ask for!! 🤓
.
First time we try his French Baguette $3.60 & stuff with our own fillings 👉then pop into oven 180 degree for 5 mins.
Crusty and tastes so real! (you just gotta try it to believe what we say!)

“Da Hai Mala Hotpot” stall: Rain or shine, weekday or weekend, they are always open! Stick to vegetarian theme (day #6) One interesting fact for Mala is that the sauce is made with butter so go for Vegetarian spicy sauce if you can’t eat butter. For us, it’s been a ride and we just give it a go! The other ingredients in our bowl are lotus root, bean curd, 2 types of mushroom

“Ananda Bhavan” has to be our must visit place for annual Vegetarian 10 days Mission! 💪
.
Clockwise 👉
Rava Thosai $3.90
Gobi 65 $6.90
Thali Set $11.40
.
All dishes are tasty, natural & vegetarian!
NB: lunchtime on weekends are crowded that you might have to share table.

“Jia Jia + stall”: Hand pulled noodle is an acquired taste which we have yet to master. We asked for vegetarian customized version (spinach noodle with spinach soup) $4.60 The texture of spinach noodle is rather unique. If you decide to try, go for their regular dishes rather than experimental ones like us.

We also order Special one set $14.80 (main: Jjajang rice with kimchi pancake) Suggest going for lunch promo rather than dinner!
.
P.S. keep your receipt for 50% off on your ala crate menu (valid on weekdays, 2-5 pm)

Ain’t easy 10 day-vegetarian (day #3) @ Seoul Yummy
*****
Almost picked on the side dish (dried anchovy) and stop my chopsticks just in time. Wish mushroom would be cooked more in a hot stone. First time trying their vegetarian range, “Yachae Bibimbap” $13.80 tastes alright with the right mix of bean sprout, mushroom and tofu cubes. Better value going for lunch promo rather than dinner!🤓
