Quintessential breakfast for many Singaporeans. We decided to opt for their otah toast to try. I like the thicker toast that they pair it with so that it blend nicely with the spicy fish paste.

This stall (Lee Soon Lee) is manned by a friendly couple. Mee siam has the right level of sourness and I feel like eating more after finishing the entire bowl.

Their standard nasi lemak comes with omelette, ikan bilis, luncheon meat, chicken wing and I added otak to complete the experience. The lemak rice paired nicely with the chilli making it a very satisfying plate of Nasi lemak.

There’s some dishes on display where you can add on to your dishes. I saw spring rolls, ngoh hiang, stir fry long bean etc.

The tendon comes with eel, three prawns, fish, pumpkin, green bean, eggplant, mushroom, squid and egg.

As I went during lunch, so there’s a complementary small cold dish of vegetable and a miso soup. Ingredients are fresh and the batter is light and crisp. This has emerged as my favourite bowl of tendon in Singapore!

Hearty bowl of 猪杂fried porridge from the herbal bak kut teh stall. Really love porridge with wok hei and this place definitely nail it.

Also tried their herbal bkt soup. It tasted pretty average to me. Will probably try their dry bkt next time and I will be returning for their fried porridge.

Pretty good bowl of dry ban mian with handmade meatballs, prawns, fried fish slices and a fried wanton. Portion is slightly on the small side.

This is different from the usual crab beehoon that you get from other stalls which is usually in a white/milky base soup. The gravy/soup is filled with umami flavours and every mouth of the thin beehoon is embodied with it. The crabs are also very fresh. Crab cravings satisfied!! 😃

Hands down the best beef rendang I’ve had before. The sauce is tasty with just the right amount of spiciness. The beef is so tender that I can break it using a spoon. Kueh pie tee, assam fish and Ayam buah keluak are pretty good too. Sayur lodeh is too watered down. Will stick to chap chye next time for my veggie intake.

Nasi kuning is abit too wet to my liking. Will recommend the crispy roti prata and jasmine rice to soak up all the delicious gravy from the dishes.

The dish is paired with mint sauce and baked eggplant parmigiana. Beautifully plated, the lamb is tender without any gamey taste. Will order again when I’m feeling generous 😁

Went for lunch at 1140am without appointment and ended up on their waiting list. Thank goodness the wait was only for 30 mins but we were told they need the table back by 130pm.

There’s many assortment of sushi platter to choose from and I really felt like having aburi sushi then. The platter was good as I love the variety but the flavours didn’t shine.

Ordered the small bcm with soup and a side order of prawn fritter from the ngoh hiang selection. Noodles were packed separately from the soup so my noodles were still springy when I got home. Good choice for a meal in the foodcourt
