Looks good but taste nothing like salted egg yolk. Lousy dish bleugh!
A newly opened bakery/ cafe in tiong bahru, specializing in cakes, cupcakes and macaroons. Whole and sliced cakes are available. Nicely done place, not many seats, lovely rooftop for cool evenings.
Easily the star of the show, and only for $6. Then again it was also the first dish that came and we were starving. Definitely a must try! Hot and crumbly biscuits drenched in meaty creamy gravy 😍😍😍
Bone marrow with parsley and bonito flakes. This came with very good, warm bread that was perfect with chunks of marrow slathered on it. So very tasty and satisfying, finished every last bit of this starter.
The Kani (Crab) Gratin. Sinfully rich, luxurious and utterly delicious; the combination of sweet crab meat with crunchy, cheesy gratin was impressive looking and tasty. One of my dinner companion, lifestyle writer Rachel Xie was reciting "OMG this is shiok!" as it was really hard to articulate exactly how incredibly delicious it was, and I had to join Rachel's kind of surreal reenacting "OMG this is shiok!" Drenched in donburi sauce, topped with Mascarpone cheese and tempura flakes. At $12, this was hands down the best starter you can ask for. Must must order!
Basically a BRILLIANT, 5-kilo, pork and lard-stuffed burrito. Pretty amazed by the rows of hidden Chinatown gems with a couple of other weirdos🔫
With pickled cabbage, beetroot, pumpkin and carrot, and soft pillows of pita. This is my new all-time favourite brunch item, light and gorgeous. The house smoked fish is incredible, you've gotta try it, even though you might be tempted to order more "common" brunch items.
