Pulled pork eggs benedict served w homemade cornbread, hollandaise sauce & salad. Eggs were nicely poached & pulled pork was tender & well-seasoned. However, the cornbread was a miss for us. Although they were v generous w the cornbread, we felt like the texture & taste (it was pretty tasteless in our opinion as the pulled pork overpowered it) didn’t go well w the dish & we would have preferred a more flavourful buttery crispy croissant roll instead (like those served w their salmon eggs benedict)! Salad was pretty good tho. There was a 1-for-1 on entertainer, so we would say this is quite worth for the price! All prices r net as well 👍🏼

It was really meh honestly.......... pork patty was really thin & scrambled eggs were not buttery enough. Bread was nicely toasted tho, but would I pay $6.30 for this? No way :(

This outlet really serves a wide variety of dimsum (there were at least 60 items on the menu) so we were really spoilt for choice! Ended up ordering the liushabao ($4.20), beancurd roll in Thai chilli sauce ($4.20), steamed pork ribs ($4.20), XLB ($4.20) & steamed rice roll w fried fritters ($4.20). We really liked the steamed pork ribs, it didn’t come w the yam pieces like those at sweechoon, so it’s really value for money bc ALL PORK 😍 Liushabao was good too, but we still prefer swee choon’s. XLB was abit disappointing bc there was no soup at all (it’s called shanghai pork dumplings on their menu so we assumed that these are XLBs & should therefore have soup inside) but the meat was good! XLB skin was abit thick tho. Beancurd roll in thai chilli sauce was good too!!! It’s not crispy tho bc it’s soaked in the sauce, so if you’re a fan of crispy beancurd rolls, I would suggest u order the ones without sauce!

Service wise, the staff cleared the queues v efficiently bc the turnover of the tables were fast (we only queued 5 mins before we got a table).

Overall, this is one of our new fav dim sum spots! They have so many unique dishes here which we have yet to try & their dim sums are all made fresh! Spent $23 for 2 pax (5 dishes, 2 drinks). Make sure to come w more people so that u get to try more of their dishes!

It’s essentially chee cheong fun stuffed w youtiaos but this dish was so unique & really good! Youtiaos were crispy even tho they were soaked in the sauce & the rice rolls were just the right thickness! Don’t see this at other dim sum places so we would definitely come back for this (& maybe even try their other rice rolls bc they got a variety!)

We ordered our usual, enoki, kangkong, cabbage, quail eggs, beancurd skin, potato, taupok, maggi & fish. The bill came up to $14. At this stall, the auntie will help u to pick ur ingredients so we were shocked when she added 5 quail eggs into our bowl 😱 but the prices were reasonable given the large amount of food she picked for us. We spent about 30 mins queuing & another 30 mins waiting for the food tho bc it was really crowded on a Friday night! We opted for 大辣 & we found that the mala was v nicely seasoned, & had a slight spiciness kick. It got a little bit too oily at the bottom tho but still v affordable. Just not sure if it was worth the wait. Maybe we’ll try their mala fish @ $22 next time!

We ordered this bc the omu rice looked so good in their menu but we were disappointed to find out that their definition of omu rice is literally just rice wrapped in a fried egg. It wasn’t flowy at all :( chicken katsu was well-seasoned & crispy. Curry just tastes like those u would get @ the jap stall in a kopitiam. Nothing special! There are other things on their menu tho, like teriyaki chicken don @ $5.90, we’ll give that a try next time!

Pancakes w sausages, hashbrown, sunny egg & baked beans. This dish definitely beats the crepe! Pancakes were nice & fluffy, w a THICCC slab of butter & maple syrup served at the side. Hashbrowns were crispy, eggs were runny, just like a typical American breakfast! Baked beans were also served fresh & hot. Sausage was okay. Could have been more generous w their hashbrowns & sausage, but I guess for the price we paid w burpple 1 for 1, it wasn’t that bad!

Crepe w boneless grilled chicken thigh, turkey bacon, pineapple baked w mozzarella cheese served w creamy tomato sauce. We found this dish a lil disappointing bc there were so many elements & sadly, the elements didn’t go well tgt. The grilled chicken thigh was good on its own, the turkey bacon was a lil weird, w a plastic-y taste & the pineapple didn’t really do much to the dish except give it abit of crunch. We also found that the entire dish (especially the crepe and creamy tomato sauce) very bland, just needed more salt! Salad was really sad too. The only good thing was that they were v generous w the chicken thigh but we would not recommend this dish even w the burpple 1 for 1 :(

Spicy basil beef rice served with fried egg & pickled vegetables. This dish was v flavourful but it was slightly on the oily side & some of the beef slices were really hard. Egg was nice & runny tho. Can definitely find better places that sell this so we would say just stick to the boat noodles!

Came in 2 flavours, tomyum & herbal, & with many choices of toppings like pork ball, beef ball, liver, prawn, pork slice & beef slice. We also had the choice of glass noodles or rice noodles. We thought that the tomyum one was decent for its price, but it doesn’t taste like the authentic tomyum you’ll get in bkk. The herbal soup was too herbal-y for our liking. Meat slices were tender & the balls were pretty good. They actually gave quite a lot of noodles per bowl as well. Not bad, but we really wouldn’t queue 1 hour for this (and we went on a Thursday evening).

Soft bread filled w scrambled eggs, chilli beef & nacho cheese. Was super impressed by this! The chilli beef was really flavourful & they were v generous w the cheese. Scrambled eggs were nice & fluffy. Bread was soft & well-buttered too. It had a tiny bit of spiciness kick as well which we really liked! Really worth w the burpple deal! 👍🏼

200g New Zealand ribeye marinated in whisky & fresh herbs, paired w salad & red wine reduction. This was definitely the star of the show! We opted for our steak to be cooked to medium well, & it was really tender & well-seasoned! The red wine reduction sauce was light & went well w the steak (also it didn’t have a strong alcohol taste, so non-alcoholics will enjoy this as well). It came w a pinch of salt at the side & the salad was the same kind as the one served w the charcoal grilled chicken, so we really enjoyed it! Would recommend to come here for the steak w the 1 for 1! What a steal 👍🏼
