I love the overall dining experience here as with the price (around $20++) you get a free flow salad & eggs buffet, complete with an egg counter you can order omelettes/scrambled eggs/any other eggs from, cold pastas and potato salad. I love the cheese-filled steak as well, it’s extremely rich and cheesy. The fried ebi is great too; overall a really wholesome and good meal that gives supreme value for the money. Would definitely recommend!

Don’t let this simple looking sandwich deceive you. From the super soft brioche and the mighty tender and beefy shavings of beef tongue, all toasted over charcoal on the konro grill topped with gribiche for a great balance in flavor and texture. This sammy is the PERFECT end to a long hard week. Le Bon Funk only does lunch on Fridays so do a bit of planning to ensure your weekend starts the best way it can! #lebonfunk #burpple

This modern teahouse at Pickering Street has been introducing premium Chinese tea to us in a fun and accessible way, since opening its doors last September. And now, they've introduced an ala carte dim sum buffet at a very affordable price.
🔸
Here's some items that you should order for this dim sum buffet:
* Hibiki Whiskey La Mian (max one serving) - potent broth here, even before adding the Hibiki whiskey. It is sweet and sharp due to lots of seafood and 酸菜 in it, and there's some spiciness from the use of 野山椒 as well.
* Abalone Siew Mai - an elevated version of the classic pork dumpling, topped with a plump abalone that's bigger than the siew mai itself.
* Truffle Carrot Cake - pillowy soft radish cake tossed with fried egg, chives, and truffle oil.
* Liu Sha Bao - generous flow of rich, sweet custard within deep fried mantou. Genius idea to incorporate what we love when we had chilli crabs.
🔸
And I thought, they are serving dim sum better than those served at some hotel's dim sum buffet. So it's a good deal if you don't need hotel ambience.

Honestly all the dishes were very flavourful and portion sizes were decent but this definitely stood out for me and is a must try!
The sauce tasted like the perfect blend of asian condiments 😛

Salmon Sashimi
.
Birthday cake never tasted so heavenly before. @sumobarhappy when celebrating birthday within a week of the actual date and 4 or more diners order a main each, we get this complimentary platter of salmon sashimi slices equivalent to our age (up to a max of 60). This bowl of salmon wasn’t to@my credit though but I was lucky enough to have pioneer gen in the group so we got the full 60!!! Salmon slices were definitely fresh and yummy and as thick as usual sashimi!

It’s a good choice when having lunch with Muslim colleagues. Came at 12 noon on a Monday but the crowd seems to be quite small. There’s empty seats and didn’t wait long for the food. I was slightly dissolved with my onsen egg though, it was tad too cooked. As compared to other kiseki ventures this is probably one of the not so good ones.

Beef was tender (albeit a little too tender that it tastes like it has too much tenderizer). Serving was for one person and cost $8. Taste is good but not particularly outstanding and wait was pretty Long even when there wasn’t really a lot of tables around.

Taste was not bad but serving was extremely small and wait was long. We ordered the small portion which cost $8.50 but is a serving of one frog. The meal with porridge cost more than $10. Porridge was smooth but didn’t taste outstanding. Frog gong bao was flavourful but not any better than the others in Geylang.

Very decent dim sum at affordable prices! We were very happy with our brunch especially Shrimp har gau, pork & shrimp siew mai, japanese dumpling, pork ribs with yam and fried fresh bean curd skin. The Japanese dumpling was delicious and the sauce was very good. Any items with prawns are excellent too as yhe prawns were very fresh. The chicken feet and deep fried dumplings were not outstanding but not bad too.

One of the better places for Vegetarian food but almost all mock meat taste the same!?! Did enjoy the the hou tou mushroom with broccoli and minced meat (really tasted like minced meat im not sure what it is) with mushrooms though. The environment is nice for like mama folks as well.

Favorite place to go for lunch appointments with more senior colleagues - because everyone loves a good har gow right? Especially when your har gow is truffle infused and prawns are fresh and plump. My colleague started the meal saying he have been eating throughout the day and not that hungry and ended pigging out and sighing that its so good he should come more often. But this does come with a hefty price tag though. 4 har gow will make you $8+++ poorer. Order the roast pork too, exquisite.
