[MEDIA] SONS deserves credit for its tasteful presentation of its dishes, like this Duck Leg Confit with Cannellini & Cherry Tomatoes [$26]. While the golden crispy skin is delightful to crunch into, it is however let down by the dry meat within. A touch (or a few) more of moistness in the meat would have done the trick.

Sample all of Moo Teow’s beef offerings with the Mixed Beef [$7/ $9]. Beef brisket, beef balls, beed tendon, and beef tripe come together to create a decadently delicious combination atop sticky rice noodles flavoured with sesame oil and a dollop of flavourful homemade chilli sauce. Mix them thoroughly to enjoy a flavour bomb that is out of this world!

I will certainly not be counting my calories when dining at Moo Teow. With its perfectly balanced flavours and indulgent ingredients, Moo Teow’s beef bowls make a perfect cheat meal! Not to mention the laid back environment with arcade and bar games to enjoy after slurping up those sinfully tasty noodles.

[MEDIA] Familiar brunch territory can be found in the Cheeky Breakfast Club [$22], a substantially sized breakfast platter that includes fluffy scrambled eggs (sorry, no chilli crab here), balsamic roasted mushrooms, honey confit cherry tomatoes, spinach, and one of the thickest cuts of bacon I’ve seen.

With such an enticing mixture of aromas wafting from this plate, you’ll be struggling to resist the temptation to dig right in while your cafe hopping buddies clamour for a photo of this beautifully plated dish!

[MEDIA] The Kaya Pancakes [$15] combines the best of both worlds – Western brunch fare infused with local flavours. Made in-house, the kaya sauce adds richness and sweetness to the fluffy pancake, which has been quartered and stacked alongside a medley of fresh berries and jam.

I’m not one to recommend sweets that often, seeing as I’m biased towards savoury food. But believe me when I say the Kaya Pancakes are worth breaking your diet for!
