Chef Sandy had warned beforehand that this dish was going to be spicy, and boy did it pack a punch! The Mushroom Cream Pepper is something unique here that Chef Sandy created; something like a fusion of black pepper, mushroom and cream sauce in one. It has got some sort of earthiness and creaminess with a peppery kick in it. The Penne was cooked al-dente and was delightful as well. Pretty worth the money spent!

Yay to a new outlet around the hood! This matcha lava cake was really yummy - a good balance between the richness and sweetness. Sync has really scored with this dessert!

Waffles definitely weren't crisp and the abundance of cream cheese layered in between turned it into a soggy heap. Taste wise wasn't too bad, but got pretty heavy on the stomach with the dense waffles and jelat cream cheese. I paired it with lychee mojito ice cream which was rather refreshing and light.

Waffle was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Icecream was not too sweet. Overall was good, can finish everything by myself! Their red velvet waffle with cream and strawberry filling is their best seller. Rating: 3.8/5

One of the best Hokkien Mee in the area as the thin beehoon and yellow noddles are moist with fresh prawns, squid and gravy. The waiting time can be an hour long so you might want to grab other local delights while waiting.

And this is what sets Fat Cat apart from the many other ice cream parlours out there. Here's their highly raved Charcoal waffle w Salted egg dip. More details on the web w their recent change of plated desserts. www.jacqsowhat.con (link in bio) 😉

Oh yeah, got to be one of the best beef noodles I've eaten. Will always visit ngau kee when I'm in KL!

Another of my favorite dishes is KL hokkien mee, the one at Lot 10 Hutong is as good as my favorite stall Mun Wah at Jalan Alor. It's dark, wet and packed with fried pork lard. Do remember to order mix of lor mee and mihun!

The beef noodles here is off the charts. Highly recommended by a KL native, they were so nice to pick us up and drove us there. The beef is extremely tender and flavorful on the inside. Honestly, I haven't tasted something better off the streets. I don't see how we could have discovered this place without the local knowledge of the city dwellers. The hour long jam was so worth it.

This noodle dish has a slightly starchy soup made from seafood and clams. Cooked with the soft ramen-like noodles are skinny strips of pork belly, vegetables, prawns and clams. Available in $6, $9 and $12 portions, this is comfort food done well.

On my first visit here, we ordered a few desserts to share. Amongst these, the Tiramisu (RM15.90) was voted the best while the Yogurt Ori Baked Cheesecake (RM9.90) was decent. The Butter Caramel Waffles (RM12.90) was however, not at all what we'd expect. Instead of being crisp, light and airy, the texture was that of chewy dough. Come to think of it, describing it as a thick and extremely dense pancake imprinted with a waffle pattern is more accurate. To be fair, it was attractively presented and tasted alright. We all agreed that the standard of the drinks was high and the latte art, on the hot Mocha (RM10) specifically, was gorgeous.

Having sweet tooth and craving for the Red Velvet Cheesecake I had at Cake Spade yesterday. The Red Velvet Cake is very dramatic looking with its bright red color sharply contrasted by the white cream cheese frosting a top.
