Got the chance to finally try out Nookie Yogurt & I must say it's pretty good! Not as creamy & milky as llao llao (cause I'm mildly lactose intolerant), so this is something that I can eat constantly! What more, the pricing is pretty competitive with llao llao as well! At S$6.90, you get yogurt, a full banana, strawberries, cookie crumbs & salted caramel.

And having their famous salted egg sweet potato fries. Loving the combination of sweet and salty. But wasn't very happy when I made reservations and wasn't given an indoor table because someone came earlier than me (even when I was punctual). What's the point of making reservations then?

Wakey, wakey, time to rise and shine and ogle at that egg porn. Look at it, sitting smack in the centre of the pizza, bleeding molten yellow yolk. The pizza base itself was a bit too stodgy, but the toppings, scented with truffle oil, made a can't-go-wrong combo.

The special cupcake of this month is made up of a light vanilla sponge and lavender blueberry buttercream. It has a beautiful floral taste which is just enough to linger in your tastebuds. The best thing is that this visually appealing dessert isn't too sweet at all. Two of my (many) favourite flavours in a cupcake? It knows the way to my heart.

Patisserie G had been using blends from Liberty Coffee ever since their inception. The coffee was smooth, creamy and had a nutty taste profile; good for a relaxing cuppa over the variety of sweets they have to offer.

Unlike the usual french toast but it's Matcha soaked brioche. ๐Ÿ˜† Among the rest were Horlicks Pannan Cotta and Piรฑa Colada Creame Brรปlรฉe.

Tender pulled pork soaked in a delicious smoky BBQ sauce, and a creamy refreshing coleslaw sandwiched between crisp, fluffy toasted brioche buns. The sweet, tangy flavours were really satisfying, and this is my favourite pulled pork burger to date! โ˜บ๏ธ The side of fries was good too.

The desserts here are known to be wonderful. Hence, I had a strong inkling the "Caramelised Bananas Pancake" would be nothing short of fabulous too. My inkling was spot on.
Measuring about an inch and a half in thickness, the pancake was astonishingly airy - it felt to me like I was eating a piece of a cloud, albeit one with gorgeous caramelised bananas heaped on top. The soft serve ice-cream was just creamy enough to not overwhelm it either. Altogether, I find this a very successfully composed dessert.

One of our favorite restaurants for cheap and good pastas is Platypus Kitchen, where pastas are handmade daily. The Spicy Diablo is one of their best selling signature dishes, created when the restaurant first opened. We love how each strand of handmade noodle is well dressed with a robust house-made seafood sauce and fragrant garlic oil. Generous portions of succulent crab meat chunks and whole prawns (conveniently de-shelled), and garlic pieces crown the dish; garnished with a sprinkle of chili flakes for a little oomph. Delicious!
