Rich coffee taste that is not bitter or acidic; with nutty taste; well-balanced coffee & milk ratio; with a piece of biscuit at the side..

This cafe is at the first floor of the Katong Square. Nice ambience and perfect for a leisurely meal indoor 😊 Redeemed 1-for-1 deal with Burpple. The staff was accommodating in explaining the deal. We ordered 2Six Breakfast and Ultimate Egg Benedict for our breakfast and peppermint butterfly pea and iced mocha for drinks. Forgot to order the 1-for-1 crepe cake 🙁 The food is yummy and the tea is classily done 👍

Opening their first bakery cafe in Odeon Building along East Coast Road, this gluten-free bakery crafts freshly baked goods daily, made full of flavour and with natural goodness. immerse yourself in the chill atmosphere and share the $20 Set with a friend, which comes with a choice of 2 muffins/cakes and paired with 2 coffee/tea. At $6.60 per slice, soak in the zesty and nutty goodness with their Lemon Pistachio cake, paired with herbal teas or load up on the richness of their Chocolate Peanut Butter cake, which goes perfect with a cup of Long Black ($5).

I think I am simple when it gives me so much satisfaction and joy to redeem an excellent burpplebeyond deal. Just being greeted by this display of baked goods made me so pleased; until I had a sip of the Ethiopian pour over coffee along with a bite of moist and dense gluten free orange tea cake. 2 words: pure bliss.
Not long after I find myself greedily finishing my pain au chocolate, which are one of the better croissants around town.

My second time here and I want to tell everyone that wired monkey is the place for great coffee and bakes.

Their pearl is pretty good and the yam paste IS THE MVP like wtf thick and not too sweet. Rly goes super well with the fresh milk!!! LOVE ❤❤❤

food was pretty good! would defo recommend the truffle fries, very legit for the price + good portion for sharing ☺️ mains were not bad (the rosti could be thinner and thus more crispy in the center + pasta needs more seasoning) but overall pretty good for the 1-1 deal! would come back to try the all day brunch the next time😊😊

I assumed it would be the Italian cheese, a savoury version of the mozzarella, that would command this stage but the Shakshuka’s smoked tomato chutney snuck up and stole the show (price: $22). I have to admit though, I wouldn’t mind if it had a bit more body.
The default bread it comes with is housemade rye (pictured above) which is perfectly fine, but since I am not a fan of rye per se, I added on Pane de Campagne, an Italian crusty bread ($5). Also made in-house at @burnclubst, the four slices were deliciously dressed with dried herbs and a drizzle of olive oil. I preferred the texture of this dunked in the Shakshuka.

It's always brunch time at this quaint cafe along Roberston Quay! Fuel up with their Brekkie of Champions ($24.50), with a platter of eggs any style, maple bacon, vine tomatoes, roast mushrooms, baked beans, sidecar sausage and crispy, fluffy brioche toast or opt for their classic Eggs Benedict Rodyk Style ($21.50) served with smoked salmon. Your sweet tooth will rejoice with the Toby's French Toast ($16.50) which sees eggy brioche bread topped with berries compote and served with maple syrup and espresso bacon.

While this was hardly difficult to put together, the pairing of sea salt with peanut butter and honey; sliced bananas for a soft texture and desiccated coconut flakes for some crunch worked for the palate. Topping it off was the straightforward, faultless slices of sourdough sitting on a wooden board as we chatted the weekend afternoon away in a brightly furnished, cozy space.

Without Burpple beyond the double slices of open faced toasts here goes from $12-18 Nett which is reasonable only if you consider the indirect overheads for running the space.

A relatively new spot for gelato in the west, Burnt Cones’ selection might be a little on the safer side (as compared to the other newer gelato shops) but each crowd-pleasing flavour seemed to be a hit and well-executed.

Having paired their waffle ($6) which came with a choice of icing sugar and syrup, with their premium Pistachio and Strawberry Basil ice cream; I love the combination of the creamy rich nuttiness from the former as well as the refreshing tartness of the sorbet. The Pistachio was sufficiently fragrant, earthy, and not too sweet. Similarly, the Strawberry Basil had a great texture. The vibrant scoop had the right balance with a good dose of berries and herbaceous taste too. The waffle itself was crispy, a tad dense, and somewhat came off a tad dry in my opinion but worked well in mopping up the gelato - serving as a great after-meal treat.

As the escalators don’t go to level 7, you’ll need to take a lift at lobby A to get to the cafe. I had the earl grey hot chocolate which was really fragrant and thick! This was a great find and would definitely be back to chill and do some work here :) #food #foodphotography #foodie #burpple #sgfoodies #singapore #foodporn #sgfood #foodsg #sg #sgfoodie #noms #nom #eats #sgeats #burpplesg #foodie #foodstagram #foodlover #foodblogger #foodadventure #hotchocolate #chocolate

Pop by this coffee kiosk in the west wing lobby of Solaris @ Kallang 164 for a freshly brewed Hand Brew v60 ($6) and Matcha Latte ($5) for that midday perk-me-up. Made with sweet potato sauce with steamed milk, the creamy Sweet Potato Latte ($5) will be an instant hit with all your sweet tooth friends! For a refreshing take, their Earl Grey Strawberry Cold Brew Tea ($5.50) will be the savior on a sweltering, hot day.
