Pork was tender, sauce was flavourful, but the serving was really small for this price, which seemed very unjustified. Fortunately the 1-for-1 deal made it more reasonable.
I didn’t really have a good experience here due to the many hidden charges that were just served without our knowledge of their costs. I know that Chinese restaurants may do this, but there was just too many - crackers on the table, water served per person, and then for the rice which we asked only for 2 servings, and then they charged us for 3 (we were 3 people). When we asked them about it, they wouldn’t budge or make any negotiations.
I wouldn’t come back here again. Food was okay but honestly not worth the extravagant prices for such small servings, and this experience just left a bad impression.
On the pricier side but definitely sufficient to satisfy ur dimsum cravings. Siewmai and custard buns were great. They didn’t let me use #burpplebeyond ytd claiming it is cny period..
Tried the XO Prawn Mee ($10) and absolutely loved it. The noodles were springy and the sauce that coats around it is full of the prawn broth flavour. The ebiko is a very good addition, further enhancing the seafood flavour of the dish. The prawns given were huge, plump and really fresh! We also had the dumplings platter, and my personal favourites were the fried pierogi and crab & prawn dumplings. Definitely will be back!
The thick, creamy sauce had hints of truffle in it and went so well with the scallops, prawn, and egg tagiatelle. Truffle and cream is just a match made in heaven.
