This is the 滑蛋 version, not the fried, which is more to my preference. I like that this hor fun has the wok hei, plus the texture is silky smooth too! The serving of seafood quite generous too. Not a bad choice for a weekday lunch, plus in the comfort of aircon!
This classic Vietnamese beef pho soup was delicious - the broth was potent and the beef slices were tender. Also love the silky smooth rice noodles! But the portion could definitely be more generous - there were only 3 slices of the beef :/
I loveee salmon and was so excited to try both the bowls! Glad to say that the seafood was fresh, and omg that beautifully torched Mentaiko!! Match made in heaven with those thick slices of salmon! 😍 The portions were adequate enough for the price point, and pls get the Large size (as pictured) if you're hungry. Can foresee myself coming back, especially with Burpple Beyond 1-for-1!
Triple chocolate cheesecake made from salted dark chocolate cookie as the base, Oplays white chocolate cheesecake centre, and topped with Dulcey whipped ganache. Really enjoy this cake for the buttery chocolate crust and the decadent, thick cheesecake layer! Tried it on two separate occasions and both times were just as good!
This dish consists of a fish and prawn patty with sambal mayo, sandwiched between housemade brioche buns. Also comes with coleslaw and fries on the side. The patty was tasty, with hints of spiciness similar to the actual otah. Pretty interesting and successful example of fusion food!
I absolutely love dim sum, and this is hands down my most fav dim sum dish!! Just bite into that crisp, buttery exterior, and you'll be surprised with that savoury-sweet mouthful of char siew. There's not too much fat from the char siew, which is my preference, and the portion is just right too. I can finish 3 of this at one go!!
Hardly can you ever find dumpling noodles that's priced at $3! I like the plump dumplings with sufficient fillings, and the skin wasn't too thick too. The noodles were the thinner kind, but it's just my preference to have those slightly thicker egg noodles. Nevertheless, good find in our hawker centres!
Don't underestimate this vegetarian pasta! It's got an intense herby pesto base, comes with mushrooms aplenty, and I particularly love the addition of burnt miso corn bits! Added some crunch to play up the textures in this dish. Defo recommend!
A twist to the Italian classic, this dish here is a mushroom cream-based one, featuring haus bacon, homemade curly pasta, and Parmigiana Reggiano. It was really tasty - you can taste the earthy tones from the sauteed mushrooms, the nice bite from the al dente pasta, and the slightly smoky oily flavour from the bacon. And what a big portion too! Would defo try it again!
Am a sucker for cookies and couldn't resist trying one from this newly opened store! There are about 8 flavours of cookies, with prices ranging from $4.20 to $4.90. It comes with a choice of filling, where the crew will use a syringe to inject the filling into the cookie.
I thought the cookie was good and my favourite kind of texture - chewy and thick! Would have preferred it to be less sweet. However, as someone who bakes, I feel this is overpriced, considering that most of the ingredients are simple and relatively cheap.
As the name goes, it's a 'zhng-ed up' murtabak with all the ingredients inside - mutton, chicken, mushroom, egg, cheese. It's packed with much flavours and oh so sinfully good! The portion is meant for 2 so share it with someone!
5 slices of salmon mentaiko sitting on a bed of lettuce, adorned with 4 pieces of cherry tomato. Love the salmon, nicely seared with the mentaiko, which was not too overpowering too. Though I felt the bowl was quite lacking in variety - literally just those ingredients in the exact quantity as mentioned above.
