The perfect way to start a day.
I loved everything on this plate especially the spicy sausage.
Would love to have more toast though 😁 I was still feeling a little hungry after this.

One of those places that tick all my boxes for a great meal out - taste, interior & service. First off, the bold colors, wall murals & neon signs were a feast for the eyes even before I sat down. Staff were really friendly & attentive.

We ordered the rice bowl & noodle bowl with their 3 specialty meats - roasted pork, char siu & roasted duck. My dining partner was pleasantly surprised to find that her rice bowl came with chicken rice and was commenting about how good their chilli is.

The noodle bowl was a surprise too - the noodles were tossed in this fragrant mix (of what looks like mince meat and pork lard?). I’m not usually a fan of roast duck so I can’t comment much. While i really enjoyed the crispy skin on the roast pork, i still find it a tad too fatty for my liking. But all was good by dunking the pieces of meat into the chilli. The char siu on the other hand, while also fatty, won my heart. I had thought that I wouldn’t enjoy it given how much fats I could see but when I put it into my mouth, I surprised by how melt-in-the-mouth it was. SO GOOD. Where did the fats go haha.. it just melted. I loved the sweet yet slightly charted bitterness of their char siu.

So going to order a whole a plate of char siu on my return visit.

All lunch sets at Brio can be topped up (+$3.90 to your lunch set) for a dessert too. Choose from 3pcs churros, 1/4 waffle with ice cream or a tiramisu.

We had the churros with chocolate dip & 1/4 waffle with ice cream. Both were fresh and piping hot. Crisp on the outside and soft on the inside. For an additional $3.90, it’s the perfect end to the meal😋 The other good news is that this weekday lunch set starts as early as 11am and end as late as 5pm🙌🏻

Had this as a lunch set and it came with a drink. I liked it as a chicken aglio olio but did not really taste the salted egg. Serving size was well worth the price though.

Had their English Fish and Chips ($12.80) as a lunch set and it came with a drink. Really enjoyed the fish as the batter was crispy but the meat inside is tender. The curry dip was interesting and moreish. Portion served was well worth the price too👍🏻

Relatively new place along the “outer” units of Westmall facing the Bukit Batok MRT. The nice uncle was friendly and kept urging us to try the generous samples of fried chicken and hash-browns that he brought out when he spotted us scanning the menu.

I think he mentioned the brand was from Korea if i remember correctly cos I was kinda busy sampling 😄 I tried the Original flavour and it was really good but cos we already knew what it tasted like, the sister and I went for the sweet & spicy and garlic soy to share instead. I really like the garlic soy as well but felt the sweet & spicy version was a little drowning in the thick sauce. Was really surprised that the sides came in such big portion too. For $7-$8 per set, you get a bowl of huge chicken chunks (no bones! 👏🏻), generous serving of sides (we topped up $0.50 for the hash-browns) and a drink. Worth it! 👍🏻 There are rice options too if you want something more filling.

Happy to have spotted this and will definitely be back to try the other flavours 😋

We had the sea bass and the portion was sufficient for two pax. Also added beancurd skin, potato slices and enoki mushrooms. We picked the 小辣 because we had previously read other reviews about their mala to be pretty potent😅 the spice level we picked was shiok without being so overpowering that we couldn’t enjoy our food.

And isn’t it cute that it was served in a fish shaped dish 😄😍

Ultimate comfort food👍🏻. The broth is light but very tasty. Noodles could be harder although it’s just my preference for firmer noodles. The char siu is so tender and flavourful. Favourite part is the egg. Well marinated on the outside and runny on the inside. Just look at the perfect golden yolk glistening 😍

All time favourite roasted char siu❤️
Haven’t had this in years but it’s still SO GOOD!
Perfect balance of fatty bits and tender meat, with the wonderfully charred edges. Simply melt in the mouth🤤!

This is a bowl of comforting goodness. Broth is thick and flavourful (but with plenty of bites of cabbage in between, i did not feel sick of it) Although there are So Many different ingredients, they all seemed to go well together. Lots of cabbage and mushrooms, slices of Japanese fishcake & fried fishcake, some black fungus, a crab stick, some pork belly, a quail egg, a prawn, a piece of squid, a clam, strips of onions... SO MUCH GOING ON.. the flavoured egg was added by me at an extra charge. But i just can’t say no flavoured eggs. 😍 below all that is yellow noodles that reminded me of yellow Hokkien mee noodles but in a good way. Flavour and texture of noodles are customisable and there are free flow bean sprouts & hard boiled eggs as with the other Keisuke outlets.

Left with my tummy and heart equally full ☺️❤️

Both were SO GOOD i cant pick a favourite. One is refreshingly light & fluffy with a generous serving of crunchy rockmelon. The other, a mishmash of interesting flavours & textures; butterfly pea flower-coloured glutinous rice with a mousse-like top that tasted like pandan(?) but had a slight savoury taste too.

I would say they complement each other. I just kept going back and forth between the two and the plates were wiped out within minutes 😄
