We have also spotted taste of Singapore dishes like beef rendang, carrot cake etc. With daily live performances, it’s time to chill with your friends and family. What’s even better? Route 65 is having 1 for 1 dinner mains daily from 5PM to 7PM and S$10 set lunch for the working crowd.
.
Superstar beef rendang is a crowd favourite among us. The 25 hours braised short rib is served with fried rice, cracker and pickled vegetables. The rich and tender coconut beef rendang is explosively flavourful, one bite and it melts in your mouth. Can’t seem to stop at just one serving!

Second time I’m here in a month and went for the tiger prawn aglio e olio ($14.90). Five! Prawns! and a generous serving of pasta with garlic. May be too spicy if you’re a xiao la kind of person, but otherwise manageable.

Much better than the raved about truffle tortellini, which had delicious mushrooms but tragically hard tortellini.

Very crispy chicken AND waffles!!!
Even after being served for more than 15mins, the waffles remain crispy! Most places, the waffles would be soggy shortly after being served but not this place.

Also, the butterscotch sauce is delicious! I believed they added rum to enhanced it!
Would go back for the chicken and waffles!

Halal fried chicken.

The barramundi fish was well done with mash and asparagus! Then the miso burger was refreshing and whole plate of different tastes. We finished the whole meal and weren’t bored of the food! Service was fast too.

The Wagyu Beef slices were tender and the beef bone soup is clear. However, the noodles was a disappointment. Ordered the small flat noodle type, it turns out soft (soggy). Not sure if the chef has overcooked it. It will be good if the noodles was al dente.

(S$13.90+)

Each set consists of a bowl of Wagyu Sukiyaki Gyudon, Mentaiko Hokkaido Oysters, Torched Mentai Hokkaido Scallops, and a choice of house wine/beer.
We started off with the fresh oysters which were drenched in shoyu, dashi, scallions, and drizzled with mentaiko sauce. One would expect the freshness of the oyster to be masked by the amount of sauce, but it was not overpowering at all as I could still distinctly grasp the taste of the sea. The mentaiko scallops were drizzled with mentaiko and garnished with tobiko and scallions as well. The cold dishes were a good start before moving on to the main courses â˜ș
I am so glad to have made the decision to top up (+$7) for an upgrade to their Signatured Torched Mentaiko Wagyu Don. The meat was beautifully seared and tender to the bite. I love how it was grilled to the right char with a tinge of smokiness. I always believe that a good runny onsen egg is the ingredient which makes or breaks a dish, and indeed this did not fail my expectations. The creaminess of the egg, mixed with the juicy chunks of beef and pearly white rice, soon became a melting bowl of glorious goodness. Without a doubt, the creamy mentaiko added a whole new depth to the dish. If it was not for the fact that the mentaiko seemed to be carelessly slathered over the beef chunks, I would have considered this bowl to be a perfect execution. It might have been better if they gave more sauce to complement the beef.

The house red wine added a nice finish to the meal. It was smooth, firm and complements really well with the beef! We love the ambience at the Marina One outlet as it was dimly lit and cozy, absolutely perfect for a date night â˜ș

Ordered both ondeh ondeh (all time fav) and the Nutella brownie cheesecake. Preferred the ondeh ondeh which is unique, must try!!!!

The prawns were fairly large and meaty but the highlight was in the sauce. Absolutely intense, it was brimming with smokiness, savouriness and prawn umami. We immediately wanted to get a second serving, unfortunately their waiting time was too long lol.

A must try!

Love doing my work here. They’ve started offering more food options! Popular brunch food. Love their cakes and tea.

The lava cake is really rich in taste which literally melts inside your mouth. Pistachio gelato is not overly sweet. Highly recommended.
