Located at #01-54, I ordered the $6 oyster omelette and was surprised and the amount of oysters that I was served in the dish. Not only that, they were briny, fresh and plump. Just feel like it could have less of the starch and would’ve preferred more egg.

Ordered the charsiu/roast pork rice from Roast Paradise after having to queue for about 15mins. It came with 2 sauces, a sweet/savory black dipping sauce and their chili. Highly recommend mixing both together for the meat. The charsiu had sticky glaze and a good meat to fat ratio and was very good. The roast pork was decent too and the skin quite crispy but charsiu was better for sure.

This roast chicken was pretty tasty. The skin was crispy and meat was tender and it was a real generous portion too. The only thing that I didn’t get was the quinoa on the plate which tasted abit odd. Should’ve definitely gotten the chicken rice option that they offered as well. Would’ve also liked a dipping sauce or a gravy for the chicken as the whole plate is a little bit dry after awhile.

This place is real worth it on burpple beyond 3 of us ordered 4 mains and ended up paying only $11. The noodles had a really nice chewy texture. The whole bowl of noodles was dressed with this spicy mala-esque sauce that’s laden with sichuan peppercorns and was quite “salivating” as the name says but it gets abit too overpowering. The accompanying ingredients were just average.

The piece of chicken that came with this curry was HUGE but could’ve been more tender. Quite worth its price tag of $13 though. The curry was mildly spicy and quite good but not as lemak as those outside that’s laden with coconut milk. The charcoal youtiao was more chewy than the standard light crispy kind but was good when dipped into the curry.

$1.20 for the curry puff it was freshly fried and still piping hot when I bit into it. The puff was really flaky and crispy and the filling was savory with sizable chunks of potato and chicken. The spice was not overwhelming and just right too.

They specialize in their yuzu broth and ramen here and I opted for the tsukemen that comes with a yuzu infused dipping sauce. The dipping sauce was pretty addictive, perfumed with toasted sesame and had a slight spice from I’m guessing a chili oil? The yuzu added a brightness to it but thought it could have been more present in the dish. The noodles were slightly overcooked in my opinion too. The accompanying players of the noodle were not too bad either but nothing to shout about.

Every table that came here seemed to order this. The ricotta is freshly made in house and I’d never tasted a smoother ricotta in my life. It was silky but light as well making it so palatable. The cherry tomatoes were so fresh as well, slightly blistered and so sweet. All this was balanced out by the tang from the sourdough that held this all together. Could possibly eat this everyday.

This depends on the nut butter they decide to make and this time was an almond-hazelnut butter. The paste was little bit chunky which I appreciated and the honey drizzled added a slight but not overwhelming sweetness. The toasted nuts added a nice crunchy texture too but the HERO was definitely the bread slightly tangy but so fragrant.

Just look at that cheese melt and I think that’s enough to say how I felt about this. The bread was crusty and the blend of cheeses lended just enough savoriness to the sandwich. The strands of sauerkraut helped to cut through that richness and the tomato jam on the side added a freshness and acidity to each bite. Just wished they had options to add some sort of protein in the sandwich.
