Not bad but not the best imo. Mango was really sweet and nice though

As above, I have been visiting the Bugis branch for awhile but it's a lot more crowded with queues even late at night. Glad the Novena branch opened up; it's still crowded but at least you can grab a seat easily, and parking is much more available.

Standard is similar to Bugis branch, no complaints. If you never had Ah Chew, desserts I recommend are their Mango Pomelo and Rice Balls aka Tang Yuan (available as an add-on at only $1.30 for 3 with some desserts but only $3.90 for 4 in ginger soup as well).

I usually have Hashima in Red Date Soup or Hawaiian Boiled Papaya Milk as it is quite hard to come across in Singapore, and good for skin.

Note: location is currently next to construction site so might be a bit noisy esp if you sit outside.

Not many dessert places serve this. Ah Chew serves an excellent version and it’s my favourite of their desserts. I had the hot one and it was thick and smooth, with just the right proportion of egg white and milk, and not too sweet.

Pictured below are two bowls, yam paste (orh-nee) and sesame paste. Very affordable yet good. Even better cos they allow top-up of tangyuan at $1.40 for 3. I like how the desserts are not overly sweet (no syrup spam) and hence you can really taste the flavour of the sesame of example. Will definitely be back again.

The honeydew was vv sweet, worth a try(probably should scoop out the ice first)
