Yummy octopus!
Greek cuisine, a bit on the high side.
Loved the service though :)

Which didn't taste or feel like wagyu unfortunately! Stick with seafood here!

Angus short ribs, topinambur (Jerusalem artichoke), carrots, artichokes.

Very tender melt in your mouth braised to perfection short ribs, served with amazingly creamy and earthy artichoke purΓ©e. The pairing was divine! Only gripe was the portion of the dish πŸ˜›


Alati’s selection of fresh fish are flown in at least thrice weekly directly from the Aegean Sea. The Aegean Sea is where much of Greece's seafood comes from.

What you see here is 750g, grilled and deboned. Indeed a beautiful Mediterranean fish with a flaky texture with a richer flavour of the sea than most other white fish.

Greek deep sea pink shrimp, basil aioli.

One of my favorite dish from the night! These lovely shrimps are dipped into a seasoned flour, and fried to a golden, crispy crunch. The batter is really light but flavorful, with a delicate sweet crispness. Also enjoyed the textures where you can feel the feelers and legs, plus the shrimp heads are yummy!! One of the best deep fried shrimps I’ve had! They are so addictive and yummy, even with the dip!


Greek honey, toasted sesame seeds

Firm, creamy block of feta nicely coated with a thin crisp layer of fyllo. It was a little hard to get through without the Greek honey. I would have preferred the feta served in bite sized with more surface area in fyllo as compared to the entire block as the feta can be rather overwhelming. Perhaps the addition of some yoghurt or walnut for additional textures could be interesting or fun to exploit the versatility of the flavor profile of feta πŸ˜…
