Many commented their tea is good, but can’t seem find any comment on their food.
Ordered the Chicken Hyderabadi ($10.9) and chapati ($1.5 each). Pleasantly surprised by this dish! Spicy and flavourful.
We happened to pass this legendary teh tarik and finally tried it. Apart from the enormous pack, it's quite ordinary. To be fair, usually a hot teh tarik brings out the nuances better.
Nice frothy cup of Teh Tarik Ais that wasn’t too sweet!
Little do we know that this is actually the Kampong Glam’s famous tea shop that many (and I mean many) locals and tourists would join the queue just to get a cup of this thirst quencher. The slight bitterness from the black tea complements so well with the sweetness from the condensed milk, while the pulling action cools the tea and creates a frothy top.
