I really like the texture of the pasta here, which are handmade by the team led by new Head Chef Jay. Most items in Boruto's menu has been refreshed new Italian-Japanese creations, and this dish is primarily Italian. The housemade pappardelle was served with a mix of wild Asian mushrooms and a drizzle of truffle oil, crowned with prosciutto to add intensity to the otherwise creamy but refreshingly light dish.

We like this tiramisu, made using yuzu sake as the alcohol. Here's what to expect from their new Head Chef, Jay, who's background in Italian food results in an Italian-Japanese menu at Boruto. Refreshingly good.

With new Head Chef Jay behind the kitchen of Boruto, he has shaken up most items in the menu, and came up with a Italian-Japanese menu. And this is one fine example of a damn good thin-crust pizza with crispy brunt edges. There's already dancing bonito flakes as toppings here, but if you're in the mood for more Japanese indulgence, top up $20 for more uni 😋

Quite possibly the most “un-pizza” pizza I have come across.
The crust is so thin it is practically a biscuit and on top of its small surface are pieces of creamy uni and some wispy ribbons of bonito flakes.
It’s definitely a novel creation but in terms of taste, it faired well with us.

This was a big hit with us when we dined there last Friday night.
The brazenly crunchy crackling skin of this Porchetta, a classic Italian dish of stuffed pork belly roll, was terribly addictive. Head Chef Jay Lee’s use of sweet potato (this must be his touch of Japanese) for the stuffing was clever indeed. It was a good match for the moist and juicy pork.
