This is a super late post because I completely forgot to post this last month π
got to snag one of the @brotherbird_bakehouse x @chichasanchen.sg collaboration boxes and they had the following flavours:
π₯ Osmanthus Oolong Croissant
π₯ Milk Tea Croissant Bun
π₯ Dong Ding Oolong Croissant
π₯ BB's Original Croissant
π₯ Rocher Croissant
π₯ Mentaiko Prawn Twice Baked
I liked brotherbird's original flavours as usual but I found the tea flavours lacking in the collab ones and it would have been nicer if there were stronger tea flavours in those croissants π
from Pickupp $34.78
So unique and delicious! A little on the pricier end but itβs definitely worth trying it at least once! For their September bakes, I will definitely recommend their double baked Mentaiko Croissant π―
Yes yes yes! Never fails to make my day (or week even)!
The duck confit and mentaiko prawn ones were da bomb!
Croissants are one of my favourite pastry. The inside was airy with smooth notes of warm butter, filled with orange cream cheese filling, raspberry jam and raspberry fruit plate perfect for a weekend brekkie brunch or dessert treat γ$5
Maple & Bacon Roll
Honestly bought this without knowing what to expect, it sounded like a pretty interesting combination. Have to say it's way too sweet for me, the glaze reminded me of Krispy Kreme's glazed donuts kind of flavour & sweetness, whilst being paired with strong bacon flavour from the bacon bits.
Matcha Pain Au Chocolat ($4)
This is definitely what you can expect from Green Tea KitKat - especially with the green coating being made from "Matcha" and white chocolate. Not gonna discredit their croissants for the pastry layers, it's definitely croissants that are well-made, but flavourwise (at least for these 3 I've bought) I'd say they aren't exactly much worth raving about.
