- Chicken Schnitzel with Spatzle ($28)
The portion was huge, and the schnitzel came with cranberry jam & lemon which was really good pairing! We replaced the side with Spatzle, and it initially tasted "bland" but it grew on us after a few mouths & was really good!
- Pork Knucle with Rosti ($19)
This was a little on the smaller side, but it was really good. The rosti felt a little oily after awhile, but it wasn't gelak (for sharing 2 pax). This dish came w mustard, good pairing w the pork knuckle!

😆 Overall: We enjoyed our meal & the service was great & felt welcoming :) The portion was just right for 2 pax, without making us feel too full or still starving after the meal. The 1-for-1 main w burpple beyond is worth it, will be back! 😊

Their German Bavarian rendition has a crisp toasted sourdough bun with bready sour earthy flavour, and a long snappy juicy käsekrainer pork and cheese sausage with meaty savoury spice cheesy salty flavour.

My go-to at Bread time when I want something of a smaller portion and more balanced.
Surprisingly the quality can vary quite a bit also depending on which cuts of meats you get, the level of charring and the amount of fibre.
This time the fat:protein ratio was much higher.

Don’t get fooled by its dry appearance. Inside the mac and cheese is very creamy and loaded with diced ham. A very hearty meal which I think will go well with the pork knuckle.

Pork sausage with mashed potatoes, braised white cabbage (sour) and few sauces to go with. Sausage is quite well done with a little black pepper in it. Very well balance plate as you wont get ‘Jelat’ just by eating a large roll of sausage.

Price is such a steal, with a min order of 6 pcs. But badly disappointed on how far from fresh these are. Lemon & vinegar slightly saved the dish. Hope it was just a bad night 🙃
Lesson learned: stick to their meat haha

Brotzeit is no stranger for their meat dishes. Ordered their platter of a small selection of Nürnberger sausages (farmer’s, thuringer, and spicy chicken), served with red cabbage, pickle, sauerkraut and roast potatoes. Personally liked the thuringer with its herby taste; rest were average

As a burpple user, I love going brotzeit. Such a good deal. Great food as always! May not be best service but the food makes up for it.
Very tasty! There was a mix of crispy and tender pieces and the one for one deal is always worth it at Brotzeit! Got this together with the schnitzel which was very hearty! The service is prompt but do make a reservation ahead of time as it can get especially crowded, even on a weekday night.
Boy, this was a huge dish that me and my girl found it hard to finish between ourselves. The pork skin was crisp and crackled as we run the knife through it; the meat was still moist and tender. Probably best shared amongst three people.

Large schnitzel, paired with potatoes that's made all the more worth while with burpple one for one. The schnitzel needs to be paired with the cranberry sauce to cut through the deep fried food. You can request for more cranberry sauce as well.

Ordered a side of rosti to pair with our meal as my girl loves rosti. A crispy outercrust which envelopes the warm and moist potato strands beneath it. Quite apart from providing the contrast in texture, the outercrust also provides a smoky charred taste to the entire dish.

Riesen Schweinsschnitzel Giant Breaded Pork Schnitzel w Parsley Potato ($32) 🐖🥔
We originally ordered the veal but this came instead but oh well. The pork was pounded to tenderness and the batter was thin! We absolutely loved the parsley potatoes, which were baked and drizzled with parsley oil. Schnitzel isn’t something we would usually choose to order here though and it got a bit dry at the end.

Brotzeit has many outlets across Singapore and they surely deliver on their German food! However, this was only affordable with burpple 1-for-1. Usually we try their sausages but this was the first time we boldly ordered the big items HAHA, it was good as a first try but maybe once would be good enough! 🤩🤩

This was definitely more than a fistful (geddit?) but really! The size of the pork knuckle was borderline intimidating and this dish is def good for sharing in groups! The crust was so crispy and the fat layer underneath melted in our mouths! The meat was good and the sides (sauerkraut & potato salad) went really well together 🤤🤤
