I waited 11mths to finally eat this bun again. I am not sure what happened. Did I idealise it too much? Somehow the pandan isn't as fragrant this time. I remembered it smelling so good. And it tasting better too.
But I guess it just $2.30, so to be fair it tastes exactly like that price. Average.

Cedele has always given consistent tasty salads over the years. Today’s portion was especially huge! The ingredients were all moist and juicy and went well together.

Base: mixed base of romaine lettuce and soba
Protein: falafel
Sides: pumpkin, corn, tofu, wakame seaweed
Dressing: lemon mustard

Studded with raisins and gently spiced with cinnamon and nutmeg, this soft hot cross bun goes perfectly with a hot drink for breakfast or tea.

Comes with a choice of tea or coffee too. Scrambled eggs were slightly runny, with just enough cheese to give a nice cheese pull without being overwhelming. Bread was of a nice thickness to sink my teeth into.

But the aroma is from bergamot paste :) I love earl grey's aroma and I really like how I can distinctively taste the "earl grey" even though the paste doesn't cover the entire croissant!! πŸ€ͺ

This has been a favourite since I discovered it 7 years ago. I'm not sure what the patty is made of, I think it's beetroot and potato, but it's thick and dense and slightly sweet and pairs beautifully with the chili jam (which isn't spicy and is more of jam than chili). I chose wholemeal linseed bread, and also ordered a cup of chamomile tea ($4.50).
