This place was so aesthetic and tbh perfect for that instashot HAHA butt I tried the Thai milk tea with pearls (~$3.30 sgd) and was pretty disappointed? I expected the Thai milk tea to be pretty gao but it wasn’t really that strong 😕 The pearls also had a really weird plasticky taste????? It was so strange we threw it away halfway :-( Tbh just come here to take one pic and leave. HAHAHAHAHAH but really though.

Most would definitely know about this all-time favourite Thai milk tea. Located just a distance away from the famous Hiap Joo bakery, it’s the best place to stop by for a drink!
Here’s what we have tried:
1) Original Thai Milk Tea with Pearls (RM10.80 = SGD3.70)
- We chose 50% sugar level and added pearls as toppings. The drink was fragrant and the sweetness level was just right. 8/10

Roaming around the streets of johor bahru and spotted this eco green looking container cafe! Tasted their thai ice tea! It was sweet and fragrant! Able to quenches a long day of thirst! Really nice to drink! Pleasing environment and service! A one stop break one can take before carrying on the whole day of activities!
Came by for a cup of Thai Milk Tea after lunch at Hua Mui! It was a good space to take a short break at after queueing for Hiap Joo and all, but even though the ice cold tea worked well for us in the heat, it was unfortunately way too sweet. The tea itself is quite fragrant but would really have liked it stronger!
Very normal Thai milk tea - nothing in particular to rave about. I did like that it wasn't too sweet and the tea itself was quite fragrant. Portion was quite big, but then again it isn't exactly the cheapest. I guess it's a nice drink to have while queueing for Hiap Joo banana bread which is just right beside it.

Essentially shipping container converted into a coffee stop. There are no seats so everything is grab and go where you're free to explore the hip and cool streets in the area. Chaiwalla serves up the standard coffee but seem to specialise in cold beverages Vietnamese coffee, Thai milk tea, and customized frappes. I guess it's only fitting for the hot and humid weather. A worthwhile stop before heading over to queue for some awesome bread at Hiap Joo which is just round the corner!
Would have preferred a less sweet version but was strongly advised/"forced" to order the normal one. Well clearly it was too sweet for me and I wished it was stronger in flavour :/ but refreshing indeed!
On days like these, don't you just want a large cup of Thai Milk Tea (RM 9.30) to cool down? My final stop for the day brings me to Chaiwalla & Co. which is a cafe that is housed in a container. No frills or theatrics, just a good cup of handcrafted drink which you can enjoy on the makeshift tables and chairs, and just watch the day goes by.
RM $7.8. Felt that the tea taste wasn't adequate and was a little too sweet. Hmmm....
They sell drinks and dessert as well, nonetheless nothing beats their thai milk tea here!
